Ladies only: Underwear question

I bought a pair and they fit like that on me too. They were so uncomfortable that I gave them to my teenage daughter.

I did that when I tried a thong. Oh my, I wore it when we went somewhere..I couldn't get home fast enough. Went straight to my room, stripped them off and put my granny panties back on. I swear my lower regions actually sighed. I will just have to live with visible panty lines!!

Good thing I burned my maternity panties. I was relying on them when I put off doing laundry too long.

So is there a REAL reason for wearing boypanties, besides for the boys to look at them? Isn't that what those shorts with "cute" or something written on the back for?
I meant a reason for undergarment purposes like tummy trimming or no panty lines?

I just figured out that granny panties don't go with low rise jeans.

Then there are those thong things. My kids freak when I refer to my thongs I wear on my feet... . I don't like seeing those with low rise jeans either. Besides, my orbs jiggle way too much without being contained.

By the way, I spewed my coffee when I read that post about orbs hanging down to the knees.

I found them uncomfortable. Now the thongs I wear just about everyday and cannot really stand to wear regular underwear anymore.

I think if you've had a few kids, you probably no longer have "orbs". I think they are probably best for those who still have some good "lift" in the backside!

Ive had 2 kids, and I still have good lift, back there.

I think if youve got a round-butt, you'd be okay. Flat butt's need not apply.

These are great for working out in bed......, but not to wear under clothing. They ride up to my throat when I sit. Uggggg. That is not attractive. I round filed mine.

I think I might have to skip this trend and wait for the next one. Are the stretchy?

This is probably a weird question but...I just bought a pair of 'boyshort' panties. They looked small so I even bought a size larger than I usually wear. Are your, um, 'cheeks' supposed to hang out? These feel really weird to me. Maybe I have spent too much time in my granny panties

Yup, they're supposed to! LOL! That's why you won't have panty lines with these boyshort panties. I love them, and yeah, DH does too!!

Still trying to get used to non-moms. Cannot even think about BOY UNDERWEAR. Nor thong fashion. When things start crawling up, I discreetly pluck them out. Am not going to put something there on purpose.

DD-12 hasn't asked for boy underwear yet, but if she does, I'll get her some. But no thongs.

One pair jeans, one pair tan pants. Got them 2 weeks before it was announced somewhere on the DIS that they were on their way "out" and straight-leg pants with waists will be coming back "in."

Well I saw on Oprah that the whole point of wearing these is to hide your panty lines. There are others that have a little more coverage than the picture posted. Also, Oprah said you should wear nude panties under white pants. This was news to me as I had always worn white under white pants so I tried it and she was right - you cannot see the nude panties under white pants. The boyshorts I have are not as high rise as the picture shown on the first page but more like a straight line across the leg rather than rising up some if that makes any sense.
