Ladies only...DH just doesn't understand!

I am so thrilled, and though of course DH is happy, he isn't RELIEVED like I am. Over what, you ask? We're leaving for WDW in exactly 16 days...and AUNT FLO came to visit today!! This of course means a "Flo-less" vacation (that would be a "flawless" vacation in my book!).

Naturally, DH's first response was "well we weren't going to be 'intimate' on this trip much anyway..." You see we are sharing a room with my sister who invited us along to enjoy her room at the Buena Vista Palace while she's at a biz convention. I see where he's coming from, but that wasn't even my main concern.

Nothing like WALKING all day ...while cramping ...being irritable ....emotional ...and having to stop for a "change" every hour or two ...In the Florida heat

You ladies understand my joy, right?

I think AF shows up every time I go to WDW. It's a stress thing for me - if I'm stressed (such as trying to get everything done before my trip!) I won't get AF... but as soon as the stress is gone (i.e. Falling into one of the awesome chairs in the lobby of the WL!) AF shows up!


The only exception was our last trip - but I had just had a miscarriage about a week before our trip. I never needed a trip to Disney more!

I am just like you, anytime we have a vacation coming up I am THRILLED if my "monthly visitor" doesn't come during that time!!

I get it! I was thrilled when I got my period a week before my last trip. It was one less thing to think about.

because I don't like to swim with Aunt Flo. This past summer, I lucked out. It seemed like every trip to the water park or the lake or whatever, Aunt Flo stayed away.
In the winter, it doesn't matter to much to me.

Of course! When I reminded him just how much the "Crimson Tide" affects him outside the bedroom, he was singing a different tune!

I hear ya sister! Usually AF winds up coming along on my vacations. Luckily I got pregnant while on vacation last summer so I didn't have to deal with it on our fall trip to WDW. She hasn't come back since DD was born, but with my luck, she'll decide to return while we're in WDW this year!

I was so worried about this when I was at WDW for 5 days and DCL for 10 days but luckily for birth control I was able to push it off a week!! Now going to DL, it will be a different story, bu tI don't care because it is only a weekend trip.

Freaking AF shows up everytime we go to Lake George in July.
And halfway through our Disney trips in August.
