Hi Ladies!
(Gentleman are certainly welcome to respond, but I am expecting more answers from the females on this one)
So, DH and I are planning a very exciting trip to Paris over Christmastime this year.
We plan to spend to spend the 24th - 26th at DLP and the rest of the trip walking around Paris. I am soooo excited!!! This will be my 3rd trip to Paris and DH's 2nd (although both of us have only been in the summer months). It is both of our first trip to DLP!
Now, here's my dilemma... I know it will be cold. I am anticipating this, but can someone tell me how many layers and how warm of a coat is needed. I have been doing some reading and it seems that some Parisians say that tourists always wear too much and get overheated. Also, what type of shoes do you ladies wear in the winter at the parks? I plan to bring boots for Paris touring, but I would enjoy any specific examples. This is Paris afterall, I am trying to find a balance of chic and practical.
Please know that I am TERRIBLY ignorant when it comes to cold weather dressing, as I was born and raised in Southern California and have not spent much time in cold climates during winter. We're talking about a ski trip here and there and that's it.

Thanks in advance for any input!
