...on your bras? Holy moly, I went bra shopping today because I was down to just two good ones. I have to buy mine at Nordstroms because I'm a small band size and that's the only place around here I can get that size. $109 bought me two bras! Thank goodness I had a good month with my Stampin Up business, cause I don't think I would have gotten them otherwise. I didn't realize good bras cost so much! I still haven't taken the tags off because part of me wants to return them. I just don't know where else to go to get the size I need at a better price. So did I totally get ripped off, or is $40-$60 an average price for a good bra?

I pay about $10 for Playtex Thank Goodness it Fits (yeah, I have a training bra cup size :lmao: ) at Walmart or Target. They fit me better than any more expensive bra I have tried.

I pay $50 to $75. That's what well constructed comfortable ones cost. They tend to last though.

My daughter and I are on the opposite spectrum hard to find cup sizes. I find ours for about $30-$40 a piece not on sale. We lucked out and they were on sale at Lane Bryant and I paid less than $30 for 2.

I need to find some nice plain white ones....those seem to be more expensive...but I'll have to suck it up and pay the $40 soon.

Ditto. They last quite awhile considering the price. I think I would die if I had to spend more than $10-15 on a bra. I find that the Target/Walmart/Kmart type stores have the best selection for the broadest variety of sizes and for cheeper than larger stores.

I buy Victoria secret bras and they run about 30 ish a piece. Comfy bras are sometimes hard to find and I would pay any amount to get a good fit.
PS I hand wash and they last at least a year.

I'm a 32C, and rarely can you find that size anywhere except the higher end dept. stores. Not sure why, but it's a hard to find that size. Not even VS has that size, I can't wear anything in that store! It just sucks to spend that kind of money on stuff like that. I'm really thinking of taking them back.

Try using the style number and brand name on google to see if any online retailers have them in stock for less.

barenecessities (I can't make it a link yet) has a ton in your size, but the prices vary a lot and I haven't had good luck with online undies for fit reasons unless I've already tried them on in a brick and mortar store.

I totally sympathize though, because I'm at the other end of the band size spectrum with a smallish cup and have a terrible time not ending up with pleated cups. :rotfl:

I have to go to Nordstrom, too. I just bought a new one last week! The brand is Chantelle and it is the most comfortable, best fitting bra I have ever had. Last year I bought the Mysterie brand because it was the "Oprah Must-Have Bra" and I was not really impressed or happy with it. Each one cost $68 each. Ouch. But I was sick of so-so fitting bras at $40 so thought what the heck. VS are great for my DD, but they have never fit me, ever. Plus the Nordstrom sales ladies are so helpful and seem so knowledgable about the proper fit and whatnot. I would keep them Steph, you deserve it.:)

i buy Victoria's Secret bras and yeah, mine are about the same $40-$50 a bra. i'm a small size too, so it's hard to find.

VS has actually stopped carrying my size in most of their bras in their stores. i have to go to about 5 or 6 stores in my area just to find ONE bra. it's absurd.

My bras generally run me in the $40ish category. Thats for the plain cotton ones. Every day sorta wear. I have paid over $75 for a strapless one. And I've paid everything inbetween for cute and frilly ones too. I have a pretty large cup size, DDD, so finding a good bra thats supportive is hard. So when I find one that works, it doesn't matter what the price, I pay it. I do try to keep my eye open for when they go on sale and thats when I stock up.

Do not take them back. Bras are an investment in your chest. :yay:
I wear Victorias Secret (have you looked at their online store? They might have the 32 size.)

i'm a 32B and i'm the one who said that VS is rarely carrying that size anymore. all of the 32's are being pulled just about. they claim that there isn't a big demand for that size, which, i find offensive because they have plenty of every other size bra.

My beef about the bras these days is that they all seem to be padded! I don't need no extra padding :confused3

I was talking to my friend about this the other day. Smaller cup sizes, padding ok. Larger cup sizes, not needed. If Im a DDD, I do not, I repeat, do not need padding to make them look fuller and bigger. I've already been able to do that naturally thank you. Just give me a bra to make them perky and I will be just fine.

EXACTLY :thumbsup2

Must be a man who's designing them :lmao:

I get mine lightly padded because I don't want the headlights to poke through when it's cold. :rotfl:

And I get mine at Target when they go on sale.

I bought several Bras at Kohl's. They were 60% off. Walked away wth 3 really nice and comfortable ones too. I spent $43 on 3 of them.

I hate hate hate underwire bras, they make me itch..

Even Sears has a nice collect of Bras.. I have bought a few there in the past..
