Ladies- how many purses do you bring to Disney?

PURSES??? In the PARKS???



Seriously, I am the biggest Coach fanatic out there, I have MANY of them, and the only one that comes with me is the one I take on the plane. And okay, a really cute little one that I will take if I'm going to a dinner in a resort at a nice restaurant. That's IT.

My "park bag" is a very small, sturdy old Nine West backpack that has served me very well over the years. Holds the camera, wallet, sunscreen, the occasional poncho and the small purse items, plus has outside pockets for the phone and glasses. I love it. I would NEVER bring one of my good, expensive purses to the parks.

At least two, but we usually buy more once we're in Orlando (GREAT Coach stores at the Prime and Premium Outlets).

I bring one regular "night" purse for when we go out for dinner, or to DTD. Or to go shopping.

One wristlet because sometimes you just need a tiny thing to put your money,cell and room key.

And I never go without my park bag, which is a tiny Kipling thing called Eldorado you can wear a lot of different ways. I can put everything I need in that thing,including my camera, and it takes like 2 seconds for the security guys to check it. Just bought two for my sister & her friend, they are IMO the best park purses EVER.

No purse for me either , usually just bring my fanny pak, but this trip I bought a sling bag with cross body strap, I think it will be more comfortable than something around my waist all day.

I have a passport wallet (I think that's what they are called) that I wear around my neck that holds money, ID, credit card, tickets etc. We have one backpack that someone in the family carries with rainjackets, snacks or souvenirs etc. No purse, it stays home.

I bring one... my Mickey one that is more like a messenger bag.

But we also bring a diaper bag, camera bag, and a backpack for any items that we might need.

I forgot what is was like just to bring one bag and that was it.

The thought of spending my day carrying a backpack or worse, with a bag tied around my waist gives me the creeps. Honestly, I don't find this two comfortable or handy AT ALL. I am debating what to do. I guess a shoulder bag would be a pain for rides and so even if I have a stroller... I think a courier type of bag would be the best...

on the most part im a heels and fancy bag kind of girl. last trip i brought two, a cheap small crossbody for essentials in the park, and my LV pochette for at night at nicer outings. that was enough. my zipper broke on my cheap bag though so i bought a new once this year and am debating if i need another one in case of ER but ill take the risk and pack just the one. also wear sneakers for 95% of the week.

i dont wear cargo shorts, or shorts with any pockets half the time so i need a bag.

Zero or 1. Usually I have my purse from in the car, or on the plane, but it never sees the light of day once we get to WDW.

ME TOO...however I do bring these two bags that I use while there.

I only own one purse at a time. When it dies, I buy another. I'm not a purse person.

I loveeeeeeeeeee purses. Funny thing..I just went through my purses recently and couldn't believe how many spring/summer purses I actually have.. Matter of fact...I decided to take back one I just bought and had not used yet..... when I realized how many I have and had not used in a while. I am not obsessed with shoes at all..but purses OH YEAH BABY!!!

I take the Vera Bradley Hipster...... It's perfect for me. I never have to take it off for any of the rides!! I also have a VB small packpack that I have taken in the past. I love it too.... but I have to take it off and on for rides and I am always afraid that I might leave in in the storage bins of the ride after I get off.

I use a beltbag at disney and other amusement parks and that is it. At home I hardly ever use a purse/bag.

I carry a Travelon handbag while traveling to/from WDW. When I get there, my wallet goes in the safe and I only carry my room card, driver's license and tip money in my cargo shorts or other pocket. At first I felt bare, but it is also liberating not to have to carry a purse.

I carry a purse on the flight. Standard purses are not large and mine fits into a tote bag easily.

Once at disney I have a small shoulder bag. I holds my camera, teeny disney wallet, keys and a few other odds and ends. That's it for me!

When I travel on a plane I use a large tote/purse. At WDW I
use a Disney fanny pack/belly bag. It holds some cash, credit card,
room key, admission pass, digital camera, chap stick and a small hair brush.
We wear our sunglasses. My husband loves his cargo shorts for stuff.

zero purses...have a miniature black backpack and everything goes in there. Can't be bothered with anything resembling a purse at WDW. And hubby will carry the mini backpack if necessary...not so if it was at all purse-looking.

My favorite trip of all was actually a very cold trip in January where we both had on jackets with multiple pockets. No bag needed at all. Score!

I carry my Disney D & B bag or wristlet. Honestly just depends on the weather and how much I need to carry.

Finally - a woman after my own heart! I do not get the purse thing. I am currently on year five of a denim shoulder bag purchased for under $10 at (gasp!) WalMart! Suits me perfectly.

As for what I carry at WDW, usually nothing. I try to make sure I have adequate pockets for my ID, park ticket, debit card, lip balm, and a small amount of cash. I love to travel light!

I have a very small mini-bag with compartments for cards, money, ID, a small brush and room for my cell phone. It has a cross body strap that I attach my small camera case to so I'm totally hands free and it's wonderful. I bought this bag at a craft fair in Colorado and it's hand painted with a few flowers and my initials so it looks fine when we go out to dinner too. It's also small enough to go into my Vera Bradley duffel bag on the plane. It's in great shape but I know it won't last forever and I don't know what I'll do when it goes. It just makes everything so easy.

Fine. I will be the odd one out! I used to take 3 coach bags with me on vacation-a black, a brown and a fun/bright one. I would switch out depending on what I was wearing.

Then my grandma got me a baggalini, so that became my park bag and I brought a brown and a black purse with me for going out in the evening, or the different stops on our roadtrips.(we stop in savannah ususally)

Now I live here, so one purse comes to the car with me and I take the baggalini in the park because it was a gift from my grandma so I can't not use it.

Personally, I don't really consider a Baggalini a "purse" in the traditional sense of the word. I put it more in the backpack/satchel bag category, which I would consider different than a purse. Lots of people carry Baggalinis or something similar, I wouldn't find that odd. Just a purse - such as a Coach or D&B or Gucci bag in the parks - that looks out of place to me and I don't think you see that in the parks that much.

I prefer to go bagless and yes, I do have one of those oh-so-fashionable lanyard case things for park passes & credit cards (I won't go the fanny pack route), but mostly I make DH carry everything in a backpack!
