I think that the corsage is a wonderful idea. If they are celebrating their 30th anniversary they are at least in their late 40's. Heck, I'm 25 and ever since my oldest child was born 6 years ago my cousin (and best friend) buys me a corsage for Mother's Day and Easter. Personally, I love it. I wear them all day on both days (to church and because the guesture is so sweet and other people can see that someone thinks alot of me. The corsage is a great idea. I also think that he should only get his wife something--this is their special day. My children always think that it is great when their Daddy buys something for just me.

That sounds really sweet! I'd be thrilled to pieces. If you wanted to do something a little more, check out
with me it isn't a matter of her being jealous...we just always celebrate as a family. this year hubby and i for our anniversary took our grandbaby & daughters ( sil wasn't able to go) to the zoo then to dinner. might not seem romantic to some but we both love the continuity of our family i guess and that's how it all started, our wedding, so to us it makes perfect sense..but i guess not to everyone
we also exchanged gifts with our kids on our anniversary also when they were at home. just how we always did it. husband and i go out on "dates" all the time just the 2 of us ( always have even with the kids at home) so maybe that is why it is different and not such a big thing for us to do it the other way for our anniversary
