Ladies - exercise capri leggings in the parks?

Marshals is a good place for well-priced leggings. And try them on in front of the mirror and do a squat (i call it squat safe). I don't know how many times I've seen ladies underpants, even in the expensive lululemon and VS pink capris. I have a couple pairs of Nike legend capris that are great but thats as pricey as I go. You could also go to different brand names, try on and then look online at amazon or 6pm.com for cheaper prices.

Hmmm... careful, or ya might end up on a blog like this one:

Personally I would not do it unless my shirt covered my rear end. :)

I'm glad to see this is indeed a zombie thread. And no offense at all to the poster who provided this link, but it angers me to read of people being so mean & catty to others>:( Like the sweet/normal looking mom "showing her butt to the world" taking a pic of her kids. Or the guy who needed the mobility scooter "does this thing come with a weight limit". Or "Asian" teens expressing their own "fashion" personalities. Shame on people for thinking nothing of casually being cruel. Further shame on people who find the cruelty entertaining. Our society as a whole is rapidly growing an insatiable appetite for picking others apart...:worried:

I wore them three days out of an eight day trip and they were very comfortable! I did wear longer tunic style tops with them, though.

AMEN!

Honestly, about 75% of the women I see in DL wearing yoga pants... I could tell you what pattern their underwear is. I'm sure they don't realize it and aren't doing it on purpose, but PLEASE check them. I really don't need to know that!

DD, mother of 2, wore her exercise capris most days with a longer tunic or tee and she looked great. She said they were so comfortable she wouldn't think of wearing anything else. I wear them also but only if my top is long enough to cover my bum.

I discovered cropped leggings and absolutely love them! I don't like wearing shorts in the park and jeans get too hot, so these are a nice alternative. Old Navy makes some pretty great ones and has excellent deals every now and then. I've heard good things about Fabletics, but have yet to try them out. I only wear black ones to the park, though. I don't really care for patterned leggings. I usually pair them with a longer top or at least a long tank top underneath a shorter shirt. Wear whatever is comfortable to you!

Just a terrible blog. I don't like any of them because as I have grown up I realized nobody gave any of the people permission to photograph a person and then publically shame them. It is the worst of the internet. On top of that the blog poster is just down right nasty. They fat shame people and also are insensitive to different religions especially Muslims. I can see why the Disboard moderaters told then it is a no go on creating that thread here. I couldn't imagine living my life with so much hate for random strangers.

Websites like that make me really mad. What the hell gives anyone the right to judge someone at all let alone because of what they are wearing, especially on vacation. Poo Poo to the originator of that blog. :furious:

Wear what makes you feel good and what is comfy and obviously appropriate for the parks. You don't want to get tossed out for violating Disney's dress code. :scared:

I haven't found workout leggings that I feel comfy in yet but if I did and they kept me cool, you bet your sweet honey pot that i'd be wearing them.
I agree with you. It would be really miserable to care that much about the people around you.

What an unkind, snarky post!!!
While I am now old, and cover my bottom with large shirts, the style here in CT is to wear tight leggings and Capris. It can't be worse than when I was a young lady and wore micro minis and tube tops. (what was I thinking?!?) Most of the women looked great in their athletic wear!
So I say, wear whatever makes you comfy!
Sparkle on, ladies and gents!

ETA: Of course I posted before I realized it was an old thread, but very relevant today!

Hmmmm. Zombie thread, but...

I wore Danskin performance capris while in the World last September. It was over 100 that day and I was wearing a football jersey (See avatar). I was comfortable all day! I was really surprised I wasn't hot at all.

And you look adorable Brittni!

If anyone is still looking for legging suggestions - I used to love Lululemons but their price-point kills me. I can buy an entire Fabletics outfit for the price of their capris and the quality is just as good. Do be aware they are a subscription so either check out as a guest or be prepared to skip every month you don't want to be charged.
