Ladies - ever been to a "toy" party?

LOL yes....I've been to a "toy" party. It was a lot of fun. Of course I'm very open about that type of stuff. Never too embarrassed to go to a "toy" store like Adam and Eve or Priscilla's.
Believe me....my husband is thankful that I'm willing to experiment with the oils and such.

I want to go to toy party!!! I'm not too much of a feminist, but I completely believe in the importance of knowing and liking our bodies. The guy I am currently seeing recently gave me a copy of The ****** Monologues. Interesting read - I would love to see the performance.

Never been to one of those, but I have had "toys" before. Now I think I'll have to have one of those parties I'm pretty open when it comes to that stuff.

I once went to a lingerie party, which was interesting - unfortunately, they made ME model most of the stuff, and there were a couple guys there, that was embarrassing

Love love toy parties!! I would love to take my mom to one as well. She would never actually buy anything but she would laugh her butt off!

I have also found some cheap internet sights for the toys and accessories...all delivered in unmarked boxes and brand new in the packages!!

I think I need to get out more! I would have never thought about having a party for toys. I would never go with my mom though! I'll bet my sister has gone to one, she's the wild one in the family!

Was there a sponsoring company, like Tupperware, or Princess house...


Now, I would have fun with refreshments for that party...


Theres a store near here that does ummm...interesting cakes.. and chocolates.. My friend is an OB GYN, and lets just say there are interesting candies out there as well.

I'm slightly surprised at the lack of men too. They are just in lurker mode waiting for us to say something provacative.

My DH was all full of questions when I got home.

Cindy - yes there was a catalog to look over. I had a hard time opening it at first. There were also various books you could purchase with photos! There were a lot of "oh my" comments when people flipped through the book.

She was pretty much just like a tupperware lady though. The hostess earned free products for having the party too.

She kept the refreshments pretty clean.

It took us all awhile to get comfortable with the party. That's probably why she showed the lotion and body products first.
