Forgot to mention what happened the second time I rode it. I was in the single rider line, so when I got to the front, I mentioned to the CM that I fit better in an end seat, so could he make sure I got one. He said since I was a single rider and would be the last one to get on, I was pretty much always guaranteed an end seat. So... if anyone is nervous about requesting an end seat or being embarrassed about asking for an end seat, you will get one by going in the single rider line!
Then, what was crazy was it was nearly closing time. When we got to the end of the ride, the CM said, "Do you guys want to ride again?" We all said we did. He said, "OK... we need to do a Chinese fire drill. All of you will get out, change seats, and then ride again." I thought... "Ack! I need an end seat again!" When he had us all jump out to change seats, I ran right down to the other end. A super skinny lady was about to sit in the end seat. I just said to her, "Do you mind if I take the end seat? It is a little roomier, and you are so skinny!!" She said thank you and seemed to appreciate the compliment, so she moved no problem!
