I contacted my agent at AAA and she told me they are waiting till 1 Jan to see what the deal will be. I already have a reservation on hold at the end of Feb- beginning of Mar. The one Im holding on has hopper and dining. I hope that the new offer is better, but will have to wait and see.

I am wondering the same thing. I also had them price it out separately because I didn't think I was getting a discount on my tickets. Like you I am paying a little over $100.00 more for my tickets than what is shown on the first post. I was debating if I should call back and talk to someone else.

The ticket chart posted WAS NOT ACCURATE. I am not sure if it excluded tax or what the discrepancy was.

My room at POR was exactly 25% off for early June when priced as a room only. To add 2 adult 10 day park hoppers was $733, not $652 as the chart suggested it should be. As a result I did not get the tickets through this offer since I do not want to be locked into a vacation package.

I will order my tickets through Undercover Tourist as I always have, even if it is a few dollars more to do this, just so I am NOT locked into a package. I hate paying for my trip before I arrive. Also, since part of my travel dates fall outside the discount window, I would not be able to split my reservations later if a discount comes out beyond June 14 (if it comes out after my 45 day payment) without paying a penalty.

Thanks again danny 25. We are booking 2 rooms and one of the rooms is the two grandmas, one of whom is a florida resident. Are they able to split up the reservation somehow, so she can get the florida resident discount and all others (including the other person in her room) just have the "promo" ticket rate?

I can tell you that the chart you linked in your post was NOT accurate when we booked this AM. The 10 day park hopper was $366.50, not $326.

$326 plus 12.5% tax is $366.

I don't know what but there is something wrong with the ticket prices listed on the chart.
I called last night to price our package with the new discount. Instead of our 8-Day Park Hoppers being $308 as listed on the chart they were $341.81
It's not tax because that would be $308+7%=$329.56

Any ideas?

We broke out the pricing of our June package and the numbers that Danny posted matched up to the quote Disney gave us. Not sure how or why but it did. Our dates are June 8 - 15 at POR garden view with 6 day base MYW and QS (2A/3C ~ ages 15, 14, & 9).

We're booked at POR April 15-22 room only Preferred room with a AAA rate.

These prices include tax
Rack Rate- $1749.35
AAA Rate- $1574.44 (10% off)
Offer chart for Jan. 3 offer- $1485.

The offer saves $264 off rack (Approx 15%). We're going to get the Tix too so we are saving enough there to make it equivalent to a 20% off offer.

If I price a rack rate trip for any resort, the total shows 12.5% tax for the room.

If I then add tickets, they are taxed at 6.75%.

I agree. It almost sounds like something was mis-programmed. Only time will tell if danny25's spreadsheet was mis-entered, assuming 12.5% tax or if the Visa code is over-taxing tickets at 12.5% instead of 6.75%

I added both 7% and 12.5% to Danny's ticket price and still didn't come up with the amount Disney did.
I guess we will definitely have to wait and see on the 3rd.

Could the problem be with the discount code the CM's used? There was one code for room only discount and another code for room and tickets. If the CM did not use the correct code the ticket could have been added at regular price even tho the room was discounted.

I figured the price of my room based on the chart Danny provided, and then added in the discounted tickets. My number was $29 less than the number Disney quoted me. I went ahead and booked-$29 is not that much money. I agree that I will check the quotes online on January 3 and see what numbers I get then!
