apparently I am mathematically challenged - what kind of savings would our family be looking at? We are currently booked at POR for May28th-June 7th in a RGR, regular dining, with 10 day park tickets, 2 adults, 2 children (8 & 5). Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

No one knows the exact details, including the OP. And the spreadsheet posted earlier in the thread only adds to the confusion since some rates listed are higher than rack rate.

As terrible as this sounds, we are all going to have to be patient and wait until 1/3/13 to see exactly what the deal is. (And as stated many times before by other posters, I have complete confidence that SOMETHING is coming on that day simply because of the OP's track record.)

Hi sorry but your dates are in the spreadsheet, how I sayed before not blackout dates if you look you will find them, March 20 is in a time frame from March 17 to March 21, the other dates 25 and 26 are in the time frame from March 24 to April 1. I know that some prices are at least strange but the dates are correct without blackout dates, ok?

And please if you haven´t looked well or can´t find your dates don´t say "there ARE blackout dates" it will be more polite to say "I haven´t find my dates", sorry but I feel that

So do you think that this won't be released earlier for Disney Visa cardholders? I don't know why, but I thought they release it to Disney visa first....but I guess we're running out of time. I keep checking the site, but nothing is posted there at all.

For all we know 1/3 IS the Visa card date. Nonetheless, Visa holders would probably only get 3-4 days advance booking before the GP anyway, not 2 weeks. And as most of us know, the Visa website sometimes doesn't update until hours after the promo went live.

Do we know yet how the discount is going to work, when it says "up to 30% off" ? We've got the GF booked, and I'm having a hard time pricing out what's on your spreadsheet compared to what we have booked. It looks like on your spreadsheet for June 1-8 the rate is $507 for the garden view room. Am I reading that right?

It looks like right now, we've got booked:
garden view room @ $ 518 / night total $4079.00
plus park hopper 8 day total $1115.07
plus deluxe dining : total $1634.05
grand total:$6832.14

When I look at the spreadsheet and figure it at $ 507 a night, it brings the room to $ 3549 (savings of $530) and the room tickets to $ 909 (2 adults / 1 child) for a savings of $ 206.

So our total savings would be $ 736? Does that sound right? That would only make the room discount like 13%. That's kind of a bummer..... am I figuring this wrong ?

OK there has to be more to it - I was looking at the All Stars - Music & Sports are still higher than what I would pay my booking right now (MOvies is alot higher)
it has got to be something per person for the 3rd & 4th person to be charged even higher - I"m wondering if dining is the case (or Mickey Ears or gift cards that only work in the parks??)

Hi Danny - you are awesome to put up with all of us badgering you with questions! I have one main thing which I'm wondering:

BC CL for late March -- rack rate on WDW site is 715 per night.

BC CL for late March -- your chart shows 875 per night, which is an increase of 160 per night over rack rate.

Any ideas about that? Disney wouldn't be raising rack rates again on Jan 3, right? And even if they did, it wouldn't be a raise of 160 per night.
