Ladies and Gentleman this will be the new promotion for 2013,

Danny25 said that there would be no blackout dates.

Are the discount percentages unknown? Looking specifically at POR. I know "up to 30%" was stated but will certain moderates be say 25%? I guess I should just sit tight and wait for January 3rd.

I don't think that anybody has been able to figure out a specific % off for any specific resort category. :confused3 Some are stating that the rates shown on the charts are more than rack rate. I'm so confused that I think I'll just wait for January 3rd to come around and see if I'll save any money.

**Edited to add a post that Danny answered earlier:

How does the "up to 30% savings on rooms" work... 30% for deluxe resorts with less for values/mods? I was planning to stay at a value but depending on the discount, a mod upgrade could be a definite possibility, yay!

If you buy the tickets at the reduced prices, would they be worth the gate value for upgrading to AP's?

Danny25's response:

it´s up to 30 % no difference betwen value and deluxe, it´s change by resort and room type but not by category, sorry but I don´t know that about the tickets

Looks like waiting until January 3rd is the only way to know the facts. I almost wish I hadn't know about this promotion in advance since I find patience challenging. :rolleyes1

I'm happy to know that there will be a promotion released and hope that it's something that will save us some money.

So the deal would save us 30% on any resort and we would get a discount on our ticket prices too? :cool1:

The charts given by OP raise a lot of questions/unknowns because a lot of the room-only rates on those charts are higher than rack rate, in some cases by quite a lot. For example, rack rate on the WDW site shows BC CL as 715 per night for late March. On OP's discount charts, the room-only discount rate at BC CL for the exact same dates is 875 per night. So my particular room-only discount would be an increase of 160 per night, obviously not a deal.

How are people confident this is true? Please share.

The original poster has a great reputation for posting accurate information regarding upcoming promotions. Although I can't make heads or tails out of the charts/documents he posted the link to, I am hopeful that a new discount will be released on the 3rd and it saves us some money.

If I do the math and take 30% off of a 7-night stay late March at a deluxe resort (and 30% is being generous; not usually that high for deluxe discounts, right?), it's still about $600+ more than if I rent points from a DVC broker for the same level resort, same days - unless I am missing something I may not make out going this route.

I am not able to open or download the document. Can someone tell me what info is on the spreadsheet for the Polynesian Resort-theme park veiw room June 6-9 for 2 adults and 2 children, 2 day water park and more ticket? Just wonder discount amount or prices.
Thank so much.

Just sent you a p.m.

It's interesting, to say the least. I'm booked at POR in a Royal Room (Standard View) for March 20-27.

Some of my days (March 20, 25 and 26) do not appear in the spreadsheet, so maybe there ARE blackout dates.

Of the dates that are in the spreadsheet, three are $20 lower than the rates currently advertised on wdw.com. One (March 24) is $60 higher than the current rates. And the park tickets (7-day base, 2 adults and 2 kids) would be $200 less.

So with all of that, my package would be around $200 lower, with the savings coming only from the tickets.

Guess I'll see what my TA tells me on January 3.

The OP has been kind enough to give us a heads up on upcoming *deals* before and has always been 100% accurate. :)

I totally agree :thumbsup2 that danny25 has been very accurate when it comes to deals. The spreadsheet just added confusion so I am going to wait to see what comes out. I'll take any % off.

Yes I agree OP has always been accurate in the past, and we're very thankful for his posts. We will just have to wait and see what those charts really mean, though, because my dates are 160 per night higher on his charts versus rack rate on disney.com.

Hi sorry but your dates are in the spreadsheet, how I sayed before not blackout dates if you look you will find them, March 20 is in a time frame from March 17 to March 21, the other dates 25 and 26 are in the time frame from March 24 to April 1. I know that some prices are at least strange but the dates are correct without blackout dates, ok?

And please if you haven´t looked well or can´t find your dates don´t say "there ARE blackout dates" it will be more polite to say "I haven´t find my dates", sorry but I feel that

Thank you for all of you that have a good opinion about my participation in the boards, I¨m very happy whit that, like I have sayed in the past, only time will tell who is correct :goodvibes

ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING, you can buy the discounted tickets if you book a room A MINIMUM OF 4 NIGTHS, only to clarify a little more (sorry)

Thanks again for your posts! I am one of those who is very confused by the pricing chart but trust you when you say that the rooms will be discounted up to 30%. Just hope that my travel dates of May 22 to June 1st and a standard room at the CBR will be one of those in the higher % off bracket.

The best I can guess by looking at these numbers is we would save about 4.5% off our package. We are booked in LM AoA rooms March 23-28. I compared the figures for Pop Century to what we have booked. If it was 10% or more we may move but if these numbers are correct we will stay with what we have.
