Lack of tropical storms and hurricanes!!!

try not to hurry him inside and make a issue of it.
but please be aware there will be alot of thunder.so try and prepare him before you go..[/QUOTE]

I am hoping he won't want to be inside when it thunders, I will just tell him it will be over soon and no need to panic.

Must admit if a hurricane is forecasted I may not be quite so calm :guilty:

going the last week sept / 1st week Oct. I love a good electrical storm, but obviously don't wanna get caught in hurricanes etc - particulaly as down to the keys for a bit this year where risk is a little higher I think?

Hurricianes get there power from the sea and the Keys are unprotected well open with sea all around so yes they have a higher risk, inland say Orlando whilst it does get hit the H will start to loose some power as its an hour inland.

Is anyone else concerned that there has be a lack of storms so far this year?
I am just worrying they will all turn up when i go on the 22nd August to 8th September.
Does anyone know what the predictions are for this year?

:confused3 :confused3

We are there from 23/08 to 19/09 this year and this is a slight concern of ours.

am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone going soon too, especially as we had to cancel (should have flown today at 12.30) due to my dvt but our friends we were going with had to go ahead with the holiday. They were there for hurricane Charlie so hopefully lightning (or hurricanes) won't strike twice
