Lack of FP+ options

This morning (Sunday) my window opened for a 7-day trip (that probably won't happen ) in mid-June. Party of 4 (or 3 for later in the trip). Logged on to the MDE website right at 7am. Availability was very good for later in the trip: AK at 60+7 (was able to get FOP at 9:30); HS at 60+6 (all tier 1s were available most times); AK at 60+5 (was only looking in early afternoon, but FOP was wide open for those times); and MK at 60+4 (was looking for evening, on the theory that it might be a DAH night; got everything I wanted). But things were less rosy for the earlier days. MK at 60+3 was generally good, but BTMRR was already completely gone for the whole day. HS at 60+2 was AWFUL. Every single tier 1 was already unavailable for the whole day. Could not get RnRC before 2:00. Could not get TSMM before 5:00! And EPCOT at 60+1 was not pretty. MDE indicated that no fastpasses are being released for Spaceship Earth. (I guess the refurbishment is still on for now, at least as far as the fastpass system knows.) The earliest I could get Test Track was 4:00.

Just wanted to note that yes, as far as MDE is concerned, FPs have not been available for SSE past 5/26, the date originally announced it would close for refurbishment.

60+4 This is our DS/Cirque day so no park planned

Wanted TSM 9am, RnRc 10:15am & MFSR 12:00pm
Got ToT 9:20am, RnRc 10:20am & MFSR 1:20/1:30pm
I could only get TSM after 10:30 which really goofed with my plan and the back and forth walking so I opted for TSM FP on our last day

60+7 Universal AM but with no FOP scheduled on our +3 day I made these...

Lesson learned if our trip gets canceled this time when we rebook I will put our Univ days to be up front so we can get a few extra + days on the FP booking.

It is hard to say if it is more normal than we have been seeing. If you check The Dibb fastpass availability, many parks are still hard at 60+2 and 60+3 which is not the traditional sense. HS is stripped bare at anything under 60+4 and 60+3 at HS used to a shoe in for mornings or early afternoon now even at 60+3 they are pushed back to late afternoons or evenings if you even get those.

To me, this FP availability looks pretty close to normal, especially, Epcot at 60+1. Folks were reporting up thread not being able to get Tier 2 passes for Epcot until the afternoon. And DHS 60+5 is what I would expect. I would say this looks better than what we had been seeing.

think that they were limiting the availability in early June. My guess has been that, assuming they open June 1st, that the reason for the FP limits are:
1) they are opening a limited number of parks so they may have to provide some recovery FPs in a different park if not all the parks are open
2) they are limiting how many can be in an FP line at a time to maintain social distance

Our fast pass options opened today for our June 18th trip I haven't made any choices yet as I feel like we are going to end up cancelling. So much uncertainty of how operations will be once they do reopen. We'd hate to make the trip and be limited on attractions and restaurants. I think we may cancel and try to schedule for next year.

I used Dibbs FP+ calendar to get a realistic plan and rank the order of getting the top FP+

This was the order I did this AM...
60+3 AK FOP(none available party of 4)
60+5 HS SDD (none available party of 4)
60+5 MFSR
60+1 EPCOT TT (only available for split party of 5/3 and later than I wanted)
60+2 SM
60+2 7DMT (back up in case EMM is canceled)
60+8 SDD
I then filled out many of the secondary top rides by order of date but while I was doing that I realized I had 1 extra day ticket for just in case so I went for the 60+7 AK evening to get the party of 8 FOP, EE & Safari all after dinner.

My biggest tip is have your plan typed down with any notes of alternate ideas don't freak out if your first few choices are not available.

We go every spring break but had to move to June. I’ve never seen such a lack of FPS as I did this morning at 7:00 on the dot. I’m 75% sure we aren’t going because it won’t be open or it won’t be open enough to enjoy but we rented points and will lose 4K if we cancel because the points are expiring.

I had to reschedule from the first week of May to the first week of June, and because of that I lost all of the amazing fast passes we worked so hard to get. Trip will be decidedly less enjoyable now.

Hmmm, posts like this make me thinking Disney is unsure of whether it'll be open then, and it is trying to make people less disappointed about losing their early June trips when they have to rebook....

I just did mine for 6/20-6/27 and I got everything I wanted. There was plenty of availability for every park, every day. I had even better luck with the evening hours (which work for our touring style).

There are some others like Haunted Mansion thrown in there as well. We purchased tickets to the Frozen Dessert Party a while back so I’m hoping that still happens...But there was availability for Frozen Ever After too.

We have a short convention trip planned June 20-24. Got on this morning at 7, along with my adult daughter logging in from another device, For our MK day at 60, no 7DMT of course. I was able to get Splash and Jungle Cruise both in the morning, the other two DGS wanted. I left off getting a third to see what comes up between now and then (which could be the convention cancelled). At 60+1 for June 21 in Hollywood Studios, no tier ones were available. I got Star Tours just for the heck of it, and Tower of Terror, and left off getting a third to see what may open up. We will queue up for Falcon first thing. DGS really only likes all things Star Wars and Toy Story. Currently they are expected to have evening EMH that day, which would be nice if that happens and help get maybe some Toy Story rides in. Epcot day Monday, June 22, was wide open. We will only be going for the afternoon/evening, but we could have gotten absolutely anything. We got Test Track, Mission Space and The Seas with Nemo. Our final day, 60+3, June 23 in AK, we were able to get Safari at noon, Kali at 1, and FOP at 5. Very happy with this arrangement. I will just wait and see what happens between now and then- At least our dining reservations are amazing-Via Napoli, BOG, Sci FI, also Oga's and Droid Depot. I told my daughter it will be what it will be-hard to plan or know what to expect
