Whoa.....
living at the beach in HOT Florida, I have grown up seeing people walking around in almost nothing, practially anywhere. So for the bathrobe issue ~ I would definitely rather see people in a bathrobe (which is comparable to a cover up) than in the swim suits, I have seen enough large, overweight men in marblebags to last a lifetime....
about the slippers....as long as they were neat/clean , what do you care? What is the difference in those and sandals, flip flops or swim shoes? Would it bother you to have swim shoes in there? You aren't out in *public* per say and aren't you supposed to feel *at home* at your resort? Personally I wouldn't wear slippers to the lounge but who cares? It is someone's vacation and they should be relaxing and enjoying it. I have also found that the mixing of different cultures provides for quite a few *differences*. Things I would never dream of doing I have seen others do and maybe it is customary or ok from where they are from. I guess most don't think *when in Rome*.
As for the bratty kids, I think I would have made a comment to a CM or to the parent at least expressing my concerns over the germ issue....unfortunately we can't control the actions of others.
I have experienced LOTS of rude people over the years not only at Disney but everywhere....but places like Disney are a haven for it because there are SO many people there at any given time.
As for getting my money's worth - yes, I better. No, that doesn't mean I would be loading up my bags and taking stuff to my room, but I would make sure that I am taken care of on the level expected.
opinions are like noses, everyone has one......what may seem right to one may not seem right to another.
