Just planning our holiday and need some help deciding which park to visit or avoid on labour day in september?:confused3

We didnt notice the parks in particular last year, but cant remember which one we were in on the day.

The area to avoid seems to be the shops at the outlets and normal shops as they have mega savings:rotfl2:and they tend to go over the weekend of labour day as well

The saturday and sunday of Labour day weekend will be busy just about everywhere with both locals and tourists. It then get quiet on the monday (Labour day itself) as many tourists are travelling back.

I think that the monday is classed as one of the quietest days of the year at MK - we went a couple of years ago and it was very quiet.:)

labor day weekend isn't really as big a travel time as other times of the year because it's at the beginning of the school year....parents aren't willing to take their kids out of school for even a day at the beginning....
so you don't get travelers from out of state (where a 3 day weekend just isn't long enough to travel far)..

even columbus day weekend is good.....in contrast, memorial day weekend is horrible as parents no longer care if their kids are in school or not by that time of year...

TBH we never noticed a big difference in the crowds at all. like pps have said its the start of the school year so its mostly locals that come in for the weekend.
