Labour day weekend

My american friend has just pointed out that our trip over will be over labour day weekend.

We were wondering how busy are the parks, water parks, malls etc, and would this just be the actual Labour day, or the whole weekend?

We were planning on going to Downtown disney and disney quest on the saturday, Shopping at the malls on the sunday and Blizzard beach on the Monday. Does this sound reasonable or is it a very bad idea?

You'll be fine with your plans except that Sunday at the malls might be a tad busy. But not overpowering. I've found with Labor Day that Saturday and Sunday at the parks are crowded but not that bad. By Monday, everyone in on their way home. It helps that in the American Southeast, most of the schools go back into session before Labor Day so families aren't traveling that much. Blizzard Beach on Monday will be a great choice.
