Labour Day Weekend Busy???

My DH, DD &I may be flying down to Fullerton CA for a wedding on Sat Sept 1 /12, and was wondering if it would be worth going to DL while we are there. We would probably fly down Thursday and return Tuesday depending on getting holiday approved due to flights being cheaper. DH thinks the crowds would be horrible and not to bother. It would be DD first trip and I kind of want it to be a go with the flow. Our last trip was in Nov 2000. I am dying to take her. She'll be 3.5 and I figured since we're already there why not. This would not be her one and only trip.

Is that a super busy time of year (like capacity closing) or not. Thanks.

Nowhere near capacity crowds. I was there last Labor Day and here are my observations:

Less busy than summer for sure.

Great age to take DD and a great chance. Espcially doing a early and late flight and getting some of Tuesday and Thursday in the parks. Almost every kid is in school then so the Summer crowds have ended.

The DL Half marathon is that weekend too.
