labor day weekend?

does anyone have any experience with crowds over labor day weekend? We will be at the world th-mon and I was thinking low crowds due to the availability of low airfare and low hotel rates ( we got a great deal at the swan!). Now I am starting to worry that I made a mistake! Although, I guess a busy day at Disney is still better than a slow day at work! (for me anyway, maybe not for DH!!) Thanks!

We were there last year at AKL. We had such a GREAT time!!!

The resort waas booked solid, but we never felt it! The pool was wonderful, buses plentiful (and never had to stand). The weather was not as hot as when we went in early May! No rain, either! I think it just rained a little on the Friday night.


The parks did not feel crowded. Then again, we had 8am Ps's for every morning and we were done before the parks opened. Took breaks around noon and then back in the evening. We are going again 2004 !

It shouldn't be tremendously crowded. It could be busy with other folks like yourself taking advantage of deals and people who can make it a day or overnight trip but, in general, people are concentrating on getting the kids back to school/settled in school so they tend to skip the WDW trips at this time of year.

We go every year at this time and will be there again this year too. I got annual pass rate at Dophin!

Crowds are never too bad. I would not do MK on Saturday during the day but go oven in the Evening for the fireworks and parade.

Other then that Enjoy! We love it this time of year. 95% of the schools in the USA are already in school. (NYC doesn't go back till 9/8 this year - it's like pulling the kids of of school to go at a slow time only no hassle asking permission!)

We're hitting WDW this year for the first time, on Labor Day. Just three nights...a mini-vacation. Taking it easy before students return back to my school.
