Looking for others sailing on the Labor Day sailing (9/5) 4 day cruise.

It's our first Disney Cruise. With all of the great information I have been reading here it should be UNFORGATABLE! (barring hurricanes)

Upon return spending another 4 days with family members at the Boardwalk.

Bob:wave:

A friend & I are on this cruise also. It'll be my 8th Disney cruise - her 2nd. I've got another friend who will also be on board with her husband and 2 teens. I wouldn't worry about any hurricanes. If there are any out there, we'll simply be diverted, and missing Nassau is no loss!

Are you guys cruising with kids or just the adults?

It will be the three of us, Wife, 13 yr. old daughter, and myself. My daughter is looking forward to all of the teen activities. My wife was dissapointed in the fact that the ship has no casino but she plans on making up for lost time when we get to Paradise Island and the Atlantis Casino. Me...I'm an obsessed Disney Pin trader/collector so you'll find me each night from 7:30 to 8:30 trading pins with others.

I am definately contemplating this cruise right now - but I have not booked it yet. It would be me, DH and my 2 1/2 yr old son.

I'll get back to you guys if we book.

I'm also a pin collector, so I just may see you at the pin trading.I'm not big on trading though, just collecting.:sunny:

Looks like this party is just getting started! Glad to have you aboard. Bring lots of pins to trade. I'll be the guy with the suitcase full of Disney pins. LOL

::yes::

My husband and I have been on several cruises on different cruise lines and have talked about taking our kids and grandchildren.

Well, we finally booked!!!!

My husband and myself
our daughter and granddaughter
Our son, daughter in law and grandson.

We are all so excited!!!

See Ya on board!

Bob,
Any specific pins that you are looking to trade for??
I bet you'd like my Maiden Voyage of the Magic pin! <G>::yes::
Or maybe my opening day of Euro Disney pin?? <G>
Do you have Wet paint?

Beccas's gammie, that's quite a crew you have traveling with you!

Hi!

My husband, three year old daughter and I will be sailing on the September 5th cruise. We cannot wait! We are celebrating our wedding anniversary, and it will be the first Disney cruise for all of us. My daughter and I have never been on any type of cruise, but the hubby has been to the Bahamas once before on Carnival. He liked it, but expects our Disney excursion to be much more exciting and fun.

Can't wait to be there!

Welcome Magazineprincess! Welcome aboard! Glad to have you with us! Congratulations on your Wedding Anniversary.

No better way to celebrate something as special as that then anyone but DISNEY! That's the way my wife and I plan on spending it next year for our 25th.

Cheryl,

Yes, I would be interested in those pins and yes, I do have a wet paint pin! I will be bringing most of my traders on board so please make sure that we get together at least one night for trading. The big annual WDW pin event is the weekend following the cruise (which I would never miss).

Only 6 weeks left folks....the big day will soon be here!

We look forward to seeing you on board!

Hi,
My mother, my husband, myself and our four daughters, ages 4, 6, 8, and 11 will be cruising with Disney for the first time labor day week. It is the first cruise for my mother and daughters but the second for my husband and I (Carnival Tropicale Sept 1992). We plan to vist a couple of the parks upon our return Thursday.
My oldest daughter is hopeful that she can meet another girl her age before the cruise to chat with. Hard to believe we have so few days left to wait. Seemed like a lifetime ago when we booked in April.

See ya on board.

Hi willoughbyclan!

We will be traveling with you, and while we don't have any older children, we do have a three year old (4 in October) who will be with us. She is so excited she just can't stand herself, and I am, too. It will be the first cruise for both of us, and the second for my hubby. Look forward to seeing you there!

Shannon

Hello MagazinePrincess:

Thanks for the reply. My youngest daughter will actually turn four on October 2nd. If your daughter decides to sign up for the kids club, I guess they may get to hang out together. Hard to believe we only have 15 days left. All of us are so excited. I have learned so much from these boards, they are a great resource.
Look forward to seeing you there!

With only 10 days until we set sail I thought that I would post an opportunity for those of us that have followed this thread to meet right before we set sail.

Anyone that would like to meet the others that have posted here can meet by visiting the third floor lobby atrium at about 3:15 pm on Sunday. This will give us time to meet before we have to go to our stations for the safety drill.

If you are planning on meeting please post an informal RSVP so we know who is planning on meeting. I will be the guy with the Disney pin lanyards (I usually wear two) around his neck. My DW and DD will be with me. After 5 months of posting on this thread we are looking forward to meeting everyone.

Any veterans have suggestions regarding galley tour, wine tasting etc. My understanding is that everything is on the Navigator? Is it normal to be very excited when there are still 9 days to go? We look forward to our first cruise. - John and Gay

Bob,
I would love to come by and say hello. I will say *I'll try* but can't promise. You never know how things go on these trips!
I'd love to see your pin collection. I don't think I'm going to be taking mine because I collect and really don't trade.

I'd love to try the wine tasting. I don't really have any info on it. I haven't cruised DCL since it's maiden vyoage and many things have changed since then.

I always bring my trade pins with me on any Disney Vacation. Just look for the guy with a Disney pin suitcase trailing behind him and two lanyards around his neck...LOL
