Labor Day weekend weather, should we cancel?

I'm going to wait until Tuesday to decide but the forecast is worrying me with the potential of Hermine and possible all day rainouts Thursday through Through the weekend, thoughts from those in Florida? If it's only partial day rains I think it's worth coming down but torential down pores and issues with flights is making me nervous coming down with just my four year old.

If you booked with points they will go into holding. If you borrowed they remain in this year. Rain ponchos can be your friends - and what 4 year old doesn't like stomping in puddles.

I'm leaving to go on Thursday and returning on Monday.
I'm not the least bit concerned.
It rains daily in the summer in central Florida hurricane or not.
If you're truly concerned then cancel and re-book for January when it does not generally rain daily.

Don't look at the forecast, especially any further out than the day before. It is always going to say rain, no way can they know this far out what any of those systems are going to do.. Go enjoy.

Thanks all! We will probably end up going, thankfully though it's the beginning of our year, so not the end of the world if we end up having to reschedule. I went out this afternoon and got my son a raincoat (he hates ponchos) and another pair of shoes so he will always have a pair that is dry. I have prepared him for the fact that there will be rain and am crossing my fingers for no tropical storm or hurricane (looks like right now it could go either way)...hopefully come Thursday we are on our way to see the Mouse!!
