It is during value season, but I am wondering if some school's start after and if that affects attendance.
And is the weather better than later in Sept.? Is it still hot like August?
Thanks!

My DD (10) and I go for our mother daughter trip on this weekend. Last year we cancelled due to Charlie. But the 2 years before we had the best time. Sat. and Sun. were very crowded at MK. And I mean PACKED!!! The other parks weren't bad at all. On Monday (Labor Day) we went to MK and had the place to ourselves!!! We rode Splash 3 times without getting off because no one else was in line. We live in Jacksonville and are fortunate enough to go a lot. Each child (DD8,DD10, DS11) gets their own Disney weekend with the parent of their choice. Then we also go at least 4 or 5 times a year as a family. Labor day is the least crowded I have EVER seen it.

As far as the weather goes, it is very hot if you are not used to it. It is just like Aug. You will be fine if you know this ahead of time and plan accordingly.
Go and have a MAGICAL time :wizard: We will be there next weekend. Can't wait!!!

Our trips always start labor day weekend!
We have never done the "parks" that weekend, I always figured they would still be busy due to a) being a weekend, b) school getting ready to start etc... but we do do a waterpark on monday, labor day and they are not very crowded at all!
After reading that corkys mom did mk on that monday, and it was empty, I may rearrange our schedule! hmm.....
we usually do the parks the week after labor day, and you couldnt ask for better crowds! Very minimal wait times! (if any)

Weather.... it is hot and humid! Just like august. Not bad if you are used to it... if not used to hot weather, it may cool down a tad at the end of september, I am not sure!

Thanks! We are trying to weigh all our options. We have been leaning toward the week after Thanksgiving, but wanted to have all the info on Sept. We homeschool so are flexible with when we can go. Of course we like to hit Value Season! :)
