Labor Day weekend crowds?

Hi everyone, I am going from PA to Orlando 8/28 - 9/6 and plan to go to a beach for the first few days, then stay at the Swan from Wed to Mon (8/31 - 9/6). Does anyone know how crowded the parks will be during this time? The hotel have good deals, so I guess that means low occupancy. I would expect the Parks to be mobbed on Labor day week-end, but maybe not... I only want to spend 1 or 2 days total at the parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, MGM on old hopper passes), due to the anticipated heat, and spend 1 or 2 days at the waterslide parks and the rest relaxing at the hotel's pool. I have never been to the parks on a day that wasn't crowded, and would love to go then. I have only been to Disney twice, once was in March (NEVER AGAIN!!!) and the other time was in Nov, when I thought it would be empty but found out in was "Jersey Week" and just about the entire state of New Jersey was there! I am going with my husband, who gets miserable in the heat, and my 10 YO daughter. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. I would like to have a positive Disney experience for once! Thank you, Mindy

Hi Mindy,

Parks are always crowded on holiday weekends.

Wednesday and Thursday should be relatively calm, but the crowds will descend on Friday!

Enjoy,

Bob

I will be there the exact same time. I am expecting hot and busy. Plan to still have a great time!
