So after not visiting WDW since MLK weekend in Jan, my wife and I are finally making the trek back this weekend. Word around town is that the Disney hotels are nearly completely booked along with park reservations non-existent for every group.

The question I'm posing to people who are also going this weekend is:

Despite park/resort capacity limits, are you concerned about crowd levels in reference to overall safety?

This will probably be the busiest weekend since they've reopened the parks.

Only a 4 park reservation sellout on Saturday & Sunday. Every other day of this long weekend only HS has no Park reservations remaining Today thru next Wednesday.

Remember that only DVC, fort wilderness, pop, yc and cbr are open, so even though those are at about 80% occupancy still 11 resorts are not open. Yes it'll be busier than what we've seen so far but just rope drop and go until closing and you should be fine

not really to the bolded part. I'm just worried about how long the wait times will be.

We had plans to go this weekend but canceled. Many reasons, but one was that I thought the crowds would be much higher than they had been all summer.

The way Disney has everything laid out, I wouldn't be concerned about safety at all. Restaurants are at reduced capacity, the lines have clear markings for physical distancing, and everyone is required to wear a mask. Yes, it'll be the busiest we've seen it since they reopened, but I still think it'll be safe. Word to wise, eat at off times. Even though at QS restaurants they're only allowing you in once your food is ready, we had a lot of issues finding a table in several places. Avoid that headache and either eat early or late!

This is us. We go during this time almost every year because of the low wait times. Unfortunately with everything into consideration (lots closed, no fastpass etc) I think we're in for longer wait times than what we're used to and I'll be honest with all the limited experiences we were still happy to go due to low wait times, but unfortunately I don't think thats going to be the case....but we will still be there lol.

I would not be concerned, the park capacity limits currently in place are extremely low, not even half of the actual capacity of the parks. In addition, as we all know, Disney has done an INCREDIBLE job at putting safety measures in place (masks, temp checks, distancing, contactless ordering, etc.), in most cases it is safer to spend the day at a Disney park than going grocery shopping..

I'll be there this weekend. My wife and I have a friendly bet too. I think it's going to be crowded. I hope she's right.

I hope your wife is right too. I am more than a little nervous. I want to see more people going but it should be a gradual increase to push the envelope - not to split the envelope wide open!

I think lines and wait times will be significantly longer than we have seen up to this point. However, I wouldn't be concerned for safety. The walkways seem wide open, stores and restaurants have dedicated entrances and exits and staff are monitoring capacity limits. Make sure to book dining reservations because of the limited options and have a great time!

We are in Epcot after checking in at pop and riding the skyliner over. We got in maybe 20 min before Epcot was supposed to open. We made a couple stops and started in Mexico with a walk-in there. Then frozen said 55 min but was just under 25 min. We have meandered their countries and not had to wait long at all at any food booths. Waiting on the American adventure now. It is just lovely. We haven’t but future world yet but the countries are less crowded than we have experienced in a long time. The Caribbean resort skyliner station was chaotic. Long long lines with people directing everyone. We have not experienced anyone not properly wearing masks thus far. Really happy so far.
