Labor Day Sunday/Monday Quick Trip..

Planning a week long trip to US/IOA in 2011, but just couldn't wait to see WWoHP now. Only time college student and high schooler could get together was Labor day. I've booked 1 night at HRH club and have 2day P-to-P tickets. We are US/IOA veterans and know what we want to see do etc.. Just curious as to the crowd UPSWING for Labor day weekend. We were looking at Sunday being pretty slow and Monday not being too bad at US. Is Labor day a big draw day at the parks??? Don't care which, we love it all.. but will the holiday bring out the locals and more?

Holiday weekends are busier than normal weekends so yes...more locals will be out due to the three day weekend. I might be out and about too.

I'd kick them out of bed. That extra time is what you are paying for, and it really helps with seeing everything at WWOHP.

We will also be there next weekend. We are Heading down on Friday and will be checking on to PBH on Sat. Due to the possible holiday crowds we have decided to just hang at the hotel on Sat. and hit US on Sunday and hop to IOA in the afternoon. Mon. we will head to Sea World and leave IOA/HP for Tuesday(Hopefully most will have left by then) and then park hop to both on Wed.
I hope this plan will help us avoid most of the big weekend crowd.
But since this is our virgin trip to US/IOA, nothing will bother us!!

Thanks to all who replied! We'll just have to wing it I guess.. We'll hit WWoHP as much as we can in the 2 days we have. I thank you all for your comments and all the disboarders for the info!!

My wife and I are headed down this Thursday (2nd) and planned to go to US the 3, 4 and 5th. We then planned to go to the Magic Kingdom Monday (Labor Day), but she used to work there and made the comment that it might not be the best idea.

I think we've changed our plans to spend 3rd and 4th at US, and the 5th at the MK, then head back to US on Labor Day since we're also staying on-site. I'm hoping the FOTL perk helps fight the Labor Day crowds, hopefully that'll be the case for both of us. Good luck to you!

Just finished watching the last HP movie for the millionth time! lol We are so ready!! 2 very short days at US/IOAWWoHP!! Cannot wait!! ) Fly out at 6:55 am!! woohoo!!

We'll be at WWoHP by 9am with a cap that we got the lowest price from by this board, we'll get into the park with "undercover" tickets from this board!!@ And HRH room rates with AAA via this board!!
