Labor Day late this year - thoughts on few days before?

We are going the last week in August. Our NJ school district starts the week before Labor Day this year.

There’s very few camps offered that week so it’s usually when we plan our trips.

We might squeeze in our FWF trip over LD weekend. School starts before LD, but they get off Friday and LD.

We originally wanted to go the week before Labor day as our school always starts the day after Labor day, but this year with the holiday being so late, our school is starting the week before Labor Day! Now we are planning to go the week of Labor Day as I don't want my kid to miss the first week of school. I'm betting there are a lot of schools in the north that are doing the same thing.
