Labor Day crowds?

We were at MK Tuesday and it was great. We walked on almost everything we wanted to ride and the crowd was very light. It did get busier after 6:00 due to MNSSHP but we were leaving then anyway. We are planning to go back on Monday since the kids don't have school but wondering about the crowds. We've been there in September many times and it's always a light crowd but I don't know about the holiday. Any idea?

As far as the U.S. legal holidays are concerned it's the lightest one at WDW. In comparison to any other Monday at this time of year??? Let's have one of the experts weigh-in. :)

It will be slightly crowded compared to later in the week (which will be a ghost town), but it shouldn't be too high of a crowd. The way most people run their Labor Day vacations is: drive down on Friday, spend full day Saturday & Sunday, drive home Monday (Labor Day). Do note that operations seem to have been scaled back (again), so even though it won't necessarily be that crowded, waits might be a bit higher than expected.

We are heading down Saturday, and because I am weird (according to DH), I have been watching room availability to see if we could upgrade. Much to my surprise, there is nothing reasonably affordable available. It seems that values and moderates are completely booked solid for LD weekend, and only the suites and most expensive rooms were available for the weekend at the deluxe resorts.
Whether that transfers to higher crowds in the parks I don't know, but I can't recall a time that there was so little available at 5 days or less.
