Just got back from a few hours at the MK and it was empty! We loved it! :thumbsup2 We were able to get on just about any ride with no more than a 10min wait if that. We got on the People Mover which goes thru Space Mountain at one point and there was NO line inside SM! We practically walked right on to Pirates even though they had just changed the time clock from 10min wait to 20min wait. Ds (almost 4) was able to go on the Barnstormer twice within a 10-15min time(he loved it BTW, first time for him on a roller coaster and he giggled the entire time). Anyway, just wanted to share for anyone thinking about going next year. We own AP and I think Labor Day will be an annual visit from now on. :goodvibes

Thanks for the mini report. I'm glad you had fun and your DS loved the Barnstormer.... it's one thing I couldn't get used to though... those seats hurt my tush! ;)

I guess you werent there on Sunday.. It was crowded!!!! We just got back last night.. We went to Epcot on Saturday and crowds were great.. we walked on Test Track, Mission Space and others with no problems.. the only fast pass we needed was to Soarin and we rode it several times.. Sunday was MK.. We got there early and walked right on Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mtn Railroad, Splash Mtn, Enchanted Tiki Room.. We had already gotten a fastpass for Jungle Cruise.. Then headed over to Tomorrowland which was a mess.. People everywhere.. We got a FP for Buzz Lighyear and then walked right on to Stitch ride.. a bit later we got FP for Space Mtn.. When we went back to get on it was broke down so we were able to use FP later that night.. We watched the parade and then back to hotel.. Came back later that day and stayed for EMH.. Walked right on Haunted Mansion.. Fantasyland was a mess though.. We were able to ride Dumbo, PeterPan, Philharmagic with not much problem though..

Animal Kingdom was crowded yesterday.. All in all we had a great time despite the crowds..

Thanks for the mini update...I see that most have reported lower crowds (with a few exceptions) and that mainly it is being at the right park on the right day.
Glad you had a good time! I'll be there sooooon ;)

(I snipped some in the middle just for brevity) Sunday at Magic Kingdom was little one's magic hour in the morning (fantasyland opens an hour early) and evening EMH at MK too. I'm not suprised it was crowded. Animal Kingdom had morning EMH yesterday, so it should have been packed too. We've had really good luck avoiding the EMH park and finding very low crowds.

The crowds were largest in the middle of the day.. we got there at opening and then stayed till the afternoon parade was over and then went back to the hotel and came back around 7 and then stayed for the EMH.. Seemed like a good strategy as lines werent too bad.. its just the crowd of people everywhere.. we did best after park closing in the EMH.. I dont think there was any hope for AK yesterday.. it was pretty bad.. but I think alot of people were leaving due to the holiday so this coming week probably wont be bad..

We were just there for one night hoping for light crowds, but Sunday afternoon/evening was very crowded at MK. Waited about 40 minutes for POC. It was raining so we didn't mind the shelter.

We stayed for EMH and it thinned out quite a bit.

EMH -- Wait times
Small World -- walk on
HM -- walk on
BTMR -- 20 minutes (no more fastpasses)
Splash -- Broken
Magic Carpets -- 5 minutes

Tried to do Peter Pan, but standby sign showed 30 minutes and honestly it looked longer than that.

Thunderbug -- Monday was probably a good choice because most people seemed to be at MK Sunday for EMH.

Also, Downtown Disney was very crowded Monday afternoon.

Also was at MK Sun. What a mess. People and strollers everywhere. No problem with the other parks. Road Everest 3 times with little wait.
