Labels and being labeled...

What do people label you as? Do you like it?
If you HAD to label yourself, what would you say you were?

At one time people thought I was going goth. Now theres a couple people who call me poser, but the person who calls me that, EVERYONE calls him that so it doesn't bother me.
I have no idea what to label myself... and plus I don't try to label myself.

I don't like labels. I don't FIT a label. I like all different kinds of music, wear all different kinds of clothes and hang out with SO MANY different people. Labels are for soup cans. But if I had to pick, I would be a crazysexycool punk-rock kid!

There was one person at school that didn't want to hang out with another girl just because she says she was a prep, and that was the only reason. Extremely stupid.

I`m labeled as preppy; i listen to rock, absolutely hate rap!! I for one,think that labels are incredibly immature!

Around here people are just who they are. I don't label people and I don't know many who do. I would label myself preppy...but i'm friends with everyone, listen to everything, but most of my clothes are on the preppy side.

i've never really been labeled before becuz i dont hang with a certain group..at lunch i move aroundi dont sit down with particular people. i listen to all kinds of music and if u saw my iPod you would see SOOO many different genres on there haha and my clothing..i just wear whatever im in the mood for like some days ill just wear jeans and an abercrombie shirt or others ill wear jeans, chucks and a fender shirt..im just all around the place

Yeah, no label here either. I hate labels, it's almost like putting straight-jacket on your personality. I make friends with all types of people, wear different styles of clothing every day, and just go with my flow. I am an artistic and creative person, and tend to be on the laughing, loud, carefree and fun side, but on occasion I will go all "shy and quite". I love all different genres of music and just listen to fit my mood for the moment, whether rock or pop or even New Age or folk music. I fit into one label: ME!

I can honestly tell you that i myself tend to label ppl and i don't think anyone can say that they haven't at one time in their life. as a girl who is a nice, weird,band geek! I'm a mutt and proud of it.

Same here but I like some rap. Not very much but some. And I hate being labled a prep because of the way I dress and the friends that I have cause I'm not a prep.
