LA restaurant

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good place to eat in LA at least semi-close to the Walk of Fame?

Before we get to Disneyland for 3 days we plan on doing LA on the arrival day. We are renting a car and going to Universal Studios, then to the Walk of Fame and Wax Museum. We don't want anything super fancy or expensive??

On Hollywood and Highland (right on the Walk of Fame) is Mel's, a cute 50s style diner with yummy, reasonably-priced food: melsdrive-in.com

I second Mel's.

For great burgers there's Juicy Burgers. Very "local" and amazingly good.

A great, old school, Italian place is Miceli's. Fun, good food, singing waiters. The Beatles ate there while recording at Capitol Records.
