la pirata y el perico

Hi there,

Just have a quick question about a quick service place that is listed as "seasonal". Will la pirata y el perico be open in early November? We will be there for Jersey week and are just trying to find a quick counter service restaurant in the Adventureland area. Thanks in advance!

I don't know if it will be open, but I wouldn't eat there anyway. (I've been there at pretty busy times of the year, ie Christmas and mid-Summer, and it hasn't been open.) We love all kinds of Mexican food, my kids even love Taco Bell...but we disliked P&P. Eat at Pecos Bill's next door instead. (They have wraps in addition to burgers and, I think, the same taco salad.) Of course, only a short walk away, there is always DOLE WHIPS for dessert! (I think DIS need a dancing pineapple icon! Pretend you see one.

Oh, and a good time to eat at PB is during a parade...we like to sit outside in the far corner towards SM!

Pecos Bill is really good and close to Adventureland.

The kitchen is the same for Pirata and Pecos Bills. We think Pirata is awesome, but as mentioned the Taco salad and fixin's bar is the same at Peco's. When you go in MK, there is a printed schedule of times for the week, and it will say if it is open and the hours. It's a small window even when open, like 11:30 -2, so don't dawdle!

It's very rarely opened any more. I think the last time is was open when we visited was in 2001! They have a taco salad that I liked.
