I am thinking about doing La Nouba for the first time. Does anyone have seat recommendations? Also, are snacks sold in the theater or can you bring snacks from outside?

Thanks!

Snacks are sold in the theater...basics like soft pretzels and sodas (as I recall). You can't bring them in.
For seats, I recommend the best seats you can't afford (lol).
This show is phenomenal. Being as close as you can to the stage adds to the enjoyment. To watch the faces on the Diablo girls is delightful.
You will not regret paying more for the seats. You'll forget the price. You'll remember the experience.

La Nouba is closing at the end of this year, so hopefully, your trip is before then.

We just saw it this week with Category 2 and the theater was much more intimate than I imagined. I.e. We were much closer than I pictured from the online map. I would be happy with any seat in the house. I definitely wouldn't need to be closer than Category 1. I preferred to be above the break I. The theater where performers walked around. The far side views Cat. 3 I believe) would not be ideal. If you book online, you will see the specific seats you are buying, and can go back and select a different Category if you don't looks of them. The snacks I saw listed were pretzels, hot dogs, nachos, and candy. There is no intermission, which surprised me. We ate dinner right before he 6:00 shoe, and then went for dessert after (show ended at 7:40.)

Been there a number of times. 1 time got a deal and got Cat 1 very close to stage. You don't see as much there, too much going on everywhere at once and down there you miss some actions up to the ceiling. Other times got Cat 2 close to middle of auditorium and 1/2 way up and those were far better. Cat 3 you miss actions on side of stage you are on Have to call to get better seats becuse online they go by 1 seat after another in the cat. you want

We went a few years ago with special DVC pricing which I think was Category 2 seats. Not really a bad seat in the house and the show was amazing!

I've seen it at least three times, and actually prefer to not be front row center. Being slightly further back lets you see all of the stage at once and I preferred that. Up close was cool to really see the performer's faces and all, plus the bike stunt guy came right at me when I was in the front row, but I feel the show is better viewed from slightly further back.

Category 2 seats are our choice. As others have said, being right up front cuts out a a sightline to a lot of the action over you and to the sides.

I haven't been but recently researched this in order to get tickets. Here's a couple tips:

1. By buying online, the system will automatically offer you what it considers the best available seats in the category you choose. You can NOT choose from the available seats. This didn't work for me because it was offering closer seats off to the side and I wanted seats further back but centered.

2. I had to call and the CM also couldn't choose seats. However, she was able to work with guest services and then transfer me to them. THEY can choose specific seats from what is available.

3. There was a significant discount for Disney Visa cardmembers. Be sure to ask if that is still available.

4. Know ahead of time that tickets are not refundable or transferable. I took a huge risk by buying for a December show this early but I really wanted to guarantee specific seats.

We did it last week. There IS still a 30% discount for Disney Visa holders. We were going to use the military discount, but turns out the Disney Visa one is better. We have done 200 section which was great, but this time we did FRONT ROW. Like I could reach out and touch the stage. It was a whole different experience! We really enjoyed it! The only hard part was the trapeze artists. They were almost directly above us which was kind of cool too. One of the guys on the bike was waiting right in front of us and it seemed like at any moment he was going to slip back and fall right into our laps, it was hilarious!
We love the show and highly recommend everyone go see it!
