We are leaving in about 25 days and my brother just told me today that he thinks we should get tickets to Cirque De soleil---

I am up for it but figured I would check with the experts first!!!

A few questions
1- does the category matter? someone said seats were good in the whole theater-- and yes this does matter to me-- I hate getting somewhere thinking those seats are better than mine

2- is there a cheaper place to buy these tickets ?

3- show times? any preference between 6 and 9 pm? how long is the show ? do you need to get there early if you have your tickets already or is it feasible to do dinner and then the 9 pm show?

Thanks for the help

Laura

We have seen the show twice...it is a great production. So much is going on all over all of the time that yes, there really are no bad seats in the house. Withour giving away much, yes, the first section is closer to the stage, but some things can be missed. Try to get as close to the front of the second section of seats as possible, you will get a good overall view of everything.
I have only purchased tickets in advance, so I am not aware of any discount ticket outlets.
Its approximately a 2 hour show. We have done 6pm seating each time, great for heading to PI afterwards. I believe the tickets state to arrive half an hour before showtime.

I agree there really are no bad seats in many of the Cirque shows. You can sit up front one time and then another time sit in the back and both times notice diffrent things about the show !

As everyone else has stated there isn't a bad seat. You get different prespectives from different seats. We had a great CM who helped us book the show and he recommended front of the second section. WE loved our seats we were about 3 rows back of 2nd section just to the left looking at the stage. The seats were amazing.

as for time we did the 9pm show. We did V&A and cirque in the same night, (we were worried about time) but were able to make it........although we were a little over dressed :rotfl2: we just caught a cab from GF made it with 15 min. to spare. So I definately think any dining arrangments would work.

Good luck and hope you enjoy the show!!! :Pinkbounc

There is no bad seat; however, Category 1 is slightly better than 2, etc. The show is 1.6 to 1.7 hours and there are no breaks once it starts. If you are going in 25 days and buy tickets now, they will not mail them to you because of the risk of getting to you on time. Instead, you will pick them up at the box office when you arrive for the show. You should plan to be at the theater at least 1/2 hour early to assure you get through any line for tickets, although it is usually quick. There is no difference between the 6 and 9 show so take your choice. I know I have seen discount tickets sometimes on-line at places in the area similar to a ticketmaster but I cannot recall their names off-hand and usually it is only a couple of dollars at most and you have to go to them somewhere in Kissimmee or Orlando to pick them up making the small discount rather pointless.

Also, do Cirque if you can. It is literally the best show in the Southeast US.

Thanks so much for the info

I have a tip to share

Ticketmania has the cat 2 vouchers that i saw posted on here

I called WDW and reserved our seats already--the CM was great and all we have to do is turn our vouchers in for tickets on the day of the show---

so dont wait until you have vouchers in hand

we got great seats
Sec 202 EE with no one in sitting in front of us

Thanks for the help
