Does La Nouba sell out every night? I have always wanted to do this show but my husband doesn't think he will like it therefore I have not pre planned or bought tickets for our upcoming trip...not sure we really have time with all of the other things planned.. Just wondering on the spur of the moment if we "happen" to be in the vicinity at the time a show starts if it would be possible to still get tickets.... We will be there 7/27 - 8/4

any information would be appreciated.

ABSOLUTELY!!! I just went on their website and for the fun of it selected July 28th and they had fabulous seats available....

NOW...this is the thing...OP, I would want to get the BEST seats possible for you and DH especially if he is "on the fence" about it....which BTW is CRAZY as the SHOW is FABULOUS!!!!!!

Forget SPUR of the moment nonsense....get yourself some tickets and do it now and plan AROUND the show. We have seen it 5 times and that still is not enough.

And if you WAIT and decide to go to DTD and buy tickets at the last minute they will be "nosebleed" and then your DH will be disappointed he is NOT closer to the stage.

BUY THEM NOW!!!!!!

With the closeness of the trip, select to pick them up at the BOX OFFICE. :thumbsup2

 Oh brother, put him on the boards. If money isn't the problem, (and even then) there is no excuse. ;)

i say push him off the fence...make the decision for him and let him sit in awe....he'll thank you in the end...at least that is what I did...BF doesnt plan...I plan...he complains a couple weeks before and when we book the trip that it is too much money...when we're there for an hour or two he's on the phone with him mom saying how great the place is...

I WIN I WIN I WIN I WIN I WIN I WIN I WIN I WIN!!!!!!! :yay:

DD and I went last week. There were maybe five or six seats empty in the auditorium.

It is such a fantastic show!

Absolutely fabulous show that's well worth the money. As stated before, you may be able to get seats, but even though they tell you there's not a bad seat in the place, I would prefer to sit more in the center. The first time I saw the show we were dead center but in the last row at the top. It was still great!!! The last three times I saw it, we were at the last row of the first section and then the first row of the second section - but always in the center. There is just soooo much going on, that they are the best place.

Last year I went with my youngest DS and his DF. She wanted to go so bad and he went along just for her. He ended up really enjoying it and glad that he went!!!

Is this a good show for younger children? I know that my 13 & 8 yr. olds will like it, but will a 4 year old?

Also, are there any "clown" costumed/face painted performers? We may have a fear of clowns with the little one.

Generally you're going to want to buy your tickets say - at the start of your trip for a show later in your trip if you must buy them at the Box Office.

The sooner you buy your tickets, the more options you are going to have. Every night does not sell out - but many nights during the busy seasons do! They generally sell out that night when they do sell out. The week between Christmas and New Years Eve tends to sell out the night, or two nights before - give or take.

A lot of kids love the show, but 4y/o may be iffy depending on the kid. You know your kid a lot better than I do. A lot of them are amazed at the performers seeming to fly and such during the show - but still some would rather sleep. Thats something that only you can really answer.

There are "Clowns" - two of which that appear spuratically during the show, and are also a part of the pre-show. They aren't scary clowns, they are goofy and will make you laugh. Most of the performers in the show do have painted faces and/or masks on.
