My boys (7) will be going to Disney for 3 nights in Oct.
We are planning to do the MNSSHP for one night- Otherwise we are just going to hang out at the SSR pool and I have some ADR's.
Short I get tickets to La Nouba? Is it worth the cost for the three of us?
Or would we be better off hanging out at the resort in the evening. If we did get tickets can you buy them the day of?

This is a fantastic show and there is a lot in it that your kids would like - (although I'm sure there our some things they won't). Since you are not doing "parks" (other than MK for MNSSHP), I think this would be something different and nice to do.

Performances only run Tuesday through Saturday and I think you could probably get tickets the day of except probably the weekend nights although you may not be able to choose an area. I will say that unless you are sitting on either side closest to the stage, you will still get a great view. The first performance I ever attended, I was able to get center area seats but we were on the last row at the top. They were still terrific seats!! To me the closer seats are worst as you have to keep looking up for the arials.

We've been to several Cirque shows and loved them, La Nouba not so much. We found it to be a bit on the boring side and it was overpriced from the others we've seen. Wait for one to tour near you and go and spend your time doing Mini Golf or Disney Quest instead.

I agree - after seeing Cirque in Vegas - La Nouba in Orlando was disappointing -

I have seen every Las Vegas Cirque show except for the new Elvis one (not a fan).

I have been to La Nouba 3 times.

I think La Nouba is a better show for children. The Las Vegas shows are more elaborate but I think they did a great job with La Nouba and gearing it for a younger audience. It is more acrobats than a lyrical show.

I saw Ka in Vegas, and had a hard time staying awake through it. Probably too much alcohol coupled with a VERY busy trip. Awesome show.

FW and I have tickets to see La Nouba while we're down there. I'm sure it will be great, and FW has never seen a Cirque show yet, so it'll be all new for her.

You can see parts of the show on YouTube. Just go to YouTube and do a search for La Nouba. Each section of the show will be in a different video. I watched about 4 or 5 sections of the show. I liked it a lot. However, one of DH's co-workers took his family to see it and he described it to DH as "they do some flips and then sign autographs for an hour" He was not impressed with it at all. But if the show is as good as the YouTube videos we will be going to see it when we go in October.

I have seen 6 or 7 different Cirque shows, several multiple times. All have been fabulous. La Nouba among the best. If you go, get tickets in the second level. Lower level seats make it difficult to see much of the show that is high up, and on the walkway between the two levels. This is true of all Cirque shows. Enjoy.

At 7 they may be more interested at DisneyQuest and get more time playing. It is a long show to sit through.....I actually was falling asleep.:faint:

Good points, but redundant...okay enough flying people and bicycle tricks.

we have been to disney a billion times (or so it seems). this was never a show i wanted to see. i felt the money was better spend else where. in may we took our son and his wife to disney for a week long trip and for a thank you they arranged tickes to this. i thought 'boringgggggg'. i smiled and said thanks but thought what a waste of a night.
let me tell you i was in awe! i didn't know where to look or what to focus on, there was soooo much going on. LOVED IT! i am going back to disney solo in a couple weeks and plan to get a ticket to go see it again and i'm sure it will be just as fresh as the first time. can not wait!!!
