I know...I am crazy! DH and I are in for this one! New Orleans is my DS and DDIL's favorite place so they are joining us and doing the half too and Feb 28th (race day) is DH's birthday so we will be celebrating on Bourbon Street that night. Come join the fun!!

A bunch of us are registered at the Hampton Inn on Carondelet, which is one of the official race hotels. If you decide to stay there be sure to request a room near the WISH Racing Team!

DH and I are hoping to do this. I will make this my 2nd HM and DH will make this his premiere marathon.. Just waiting for schedules (DH is active duty).

I have never been to New Orleans and can't think of a better reason to visit

Joanne, yup, I'm sure it will be a most fun event. Haven't been since quite a bit befor Katrina and look forward to the return trip.

I will be there! I am from outside of NOLA so we are going "home" to see my parents and run the race. can't wait!

another fun one if you want to run a shorter distance is teh Crescent City Classic 10k in April. we love that race!

I'm considering doing the 1/2, but am waiting to see my track team's schedule and finances after Christmas.

I saw the postcard and T-shirt and all at the expo booth last weekend and was sorely tempted. It's just coming up so fast, it's not happening for me this year. Take lots of pictures, though - it looks like an incredibly cool event!
