I think this is a new Mexican place at Epcot..... has anyone ate there yet? THe menu looks good - but am concerned about trying a place with no reviews!

We ate there the first day it opened and it was so good that we went back the next day. On our first night there, I had the Puerco en Salsa de Mole Negro and my husband had the Tacos de Camarones. My pork was very tender and tasty. The shrimp in my husband's dish was plump, juicy, and perfectly fried. We also shared the Empanada de Manzana which basically is an apple turnover but still good. I decided not to order something off the kids' menu for my DD(2) and she ate off my plate. She actually really enjoyed the pork as well. The second night, we started with the Botana and Taquiza, then shared the Tacos de Camarones. Both of the appetizers were good portions for starters and very tasty. I also ordered the kids' chicken soft taco for my DD. It was a very generous plate of food! 2 soft tacos, side of rice and string beans. The chicken was tender and tasty. For dessert we had the Tamal de Dulce which was very very good! The decor is very warm and welcoming. The service was also very good. We will be coming back again on our next trip to the World!

I just canceled my ADR for the Rose & Crown and replaced it with La Hacienda. Are there any dessert options with the kids' meals? I'm super excited about trying this restaurant in November!

Sorry for the late reply. If I remember correctly, kids can get a scoop of ice cream with the kids meal. Our DD not only ate her ice cream but had a few bites of our dessert too! LOL! Enjoy!

We were there two weeks ago and had the Tacos de Pollo with Chips and Salsa and Churros. It was good.

I ate there last month and loved it! If you click the link in my signature, I have my review in there.

I don't ever suggest picking restaurants based on reviews. If the menu looks good to you, try it for yourself.

I agree. I like to read reviews, get ideas on what I may like, and use them as a guide, but even if 100 people hate the same restaurant, you might still like it.
