Posted this in the restaurant thread as well, but here might be better.

Heading to WDW in March and plan to spend one afternoon with a buddy in Epcot sampling a few tasty adult beverages.

Wanted to get some opinions from you guys on whether I should spend the time in La Cava in the Mexico pavilion, in the UK Pub, or should we go mobile and drink around the world?

Definitely go around the world! But do not miss La Cava and Rose & Crown. We highly recommend the jalapeno & cucumber margaritas at La Cava, as well as the Single Malt Scotch Flight at the Rose & Crown.

If you do decide to do a trip around the world, be sure to check out the sake bar in the back of the shop at the Japan Pavilion...a great way to sample some different sake's (including one in a can!)

Have fun

I leave for the World tonight, yay! I want to drink around the world. Which way should I go? Clockwise from Mexico side around, or Anti-clockwise starting at Canada side around. Suggestions would be appreciated. Anything to really stay away from? Suggestions of specific drinks to look for at each country?

I think it's really personal preference, but I'd go with starting at Mexico (La Cava) and ending over at the Rose & Crown. You can get the special margaritas from La Cava in to go cups and trek onward. Definitely stop for a beer in Germany if you're a beer drinker...don't miss the sake bar in the back of Mitsukoshi...the wine from the kiosk in France is pretty good (Vouvray!)...and you can end up leaning on the bar (if no seats are available) at Rose and Crown pub - Scotch Flights if daring, or Harp, Guiness, beer combos, etc. along with some pub food to soak it all up (fish and chips!).

I stay away from those slushy style drinks, I know a lot of people like them...but I'm just not a fan of the high sugar/low alcohol mix.

However you do it...stay hydrated by drinking some waters as often as you can...and have fun!! I'm jealous!

I would humbly suggest avoiding the Kronenbourg beer at the France kiosk. Tasted like crap!! Get a glass of wine. And Aquavit in Norway was horrific.

We did around the world and started at Mexico and got to Morroco. Left for a few hours then came back for a dinner adr and started back in Canada on our way to Japan. Make sure to pace yourselves and drink water.

Thanks. I definately plan to stay hydrated.

If I want a seat at R&C, what time do I need to get there?

The bar portion of the Rose & Crown is just a typical bar atmosphere..seats along the windows are come and go (not full service). Most of the time you just find a way to belly up to the bar :)

If you did want a formal sit down experience..just book an ADR for the dining room...but I think you'll be just fine with the bar scenario! The bartenders are super efficient!
