Heading to WDW in March and plan to spend one afternoon with a buddy in Epcot sampling a few tasty adult beverages.

Wanted to get some opinions from you guys on whether I should spend the time in La Cava in the Mexico pavilion, in the UK Pub, or should we go mobile and drink around the world?

Definitely go around the world! But do not miss La Cava and Rose & Crown. We highly recommend the jalapeno & cucumber margaritas at La Cava, as well as the Single Malt Scotch Flight at the Rose & Crown.

If you do decide to do a trip around the world, be sure to check out the sake bar in the back of the shop at the Japan Pavilion...a great way to sample some different sake's (including one in a can!)

Have fun

Thanks for the tips Scott. I would have totally missed the sake bar!

Yes. I agree with all of this.

I wish I had it in me to give this a try one day, but I would fall on my face after 3 countries!!!

Whatever you decide, have a great time!!

We usually hit Rose & Crown, the sake bar in Japan, a beer stop in Germany and then finish at La Cava. Many of the kiosk drinks are high sugar, low alcohol. We prefer to hit the stronger stuff.

:thumbsup2 I like this thinking!

Thanks, I should be ok, though I may not hit all the countries.

I may do that, but in the opposite direction of what you are proposing so I can end at the R&C.

Must say that the tequila bar is fabulous!! If you start there, you may not make it anywhere else....lol

The drinks are way delish, the price a bit hefty but well worth it for the alcohol content.
As a tequila drinker, believe me you will be hit harder than normal with these tequilas. So be prepared to pace yourself bigtime if you really want to hit more than one venue. ;)

Start at La Cava with a flight of margaritas, then try to drink your way around the world. You can count UK as part of the around the world.

My problem is every time I try to drink my way around the world, I always find myself back at the Grey Goose kiosk in France... or in the cave with Guac and a flight.... the rest is fuzzy.

Yeah, add me to the all of the above crowd. We usually start off in R&C with a beer. Move along to Mexico, with a Moosehead in between. Then we continue around with a few more stops, only to end right back in R&C....Last week, we did two laps of F&W and still wound up in the pub for 3 hours. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it:thumbsup2

I am a tequila fan, so thanks for the warning.

Haha, I'm trying not to get too fuzzy as I have an ADR with the family that night.

Two laps, impressive. I have seen your drinking around the world exploits on the Disney Food Blog.

Of course Canada also has Labatt Blue (good starter) but the beer in Germany is great and you can even get a large soft pretzel to go with as a nice snack (in case you're a little tipsy by then). If you're up for trying any wine, France and Italy are favorites. And I love the sake bar in Japan. However, you'll never go wrong with the tequila flights.

I guess it will depend on how much you can conquer in an afternoon. Looking forward to a review after.

Will do...but not right after. That could be a bit of a strange review.
