My DW and I enjoy sitting down in the small room and having chips, salsa and margaritas. Is that little room with tables and chairs open for business or is it still closed due to COVID? Such a quiet, out of the way getaway to sit, enjoy some light snack and sip a tasty margarita. Thanks for your response(s).

It was open in Oct/ Nov. Hopefully, it has stayed that way.

I tried to get in the other day and the queue for it was almost out of the Mexico pavilion door.

In Nov when we were there it was out the door with Cast Member directing people to the line or inside - it was insane ! You would have thought it was the only place in Park for a drink - but then again France was 10 times worse

This. It's been a tough get since it opened. 10 plus times pre-pandemic and could never get a seat even when I lined up for 40 mins before opening. Ended up grabbing a margarita to go at the bar and enjoying it in the pavilion near the fountain. If you have a group of 6 plus and line up pre-opening, prob have a better shot. Strength in numbers.

We've tried multiple times this year to get in and no dice. The line is always insane. We're heading to Epcot today and will try again, though.

When we were there in October, they had a queue weaving back and forth toward the restaurant. Looked like a long, long wait.

Do they not have the wait list any more. In the before times they had a wait list you could sign up for if you wanted to sit inside and not just go to the bar. The bar and to go had long lines. I'll be there next week so will check it out.

The line wasn't as bad yesterday. We were able to get a drink to go within about 10 minutes. There was about 20 or so people waiting for a table, but we decided not to wait and just took ours to go and headed to the Odyssey building to enjoy a seat and some AC with our drinks.
