I've seen it on here a couple of times, and I have to ask, why is La Cava de Tequila called The Ditch?

One of the many translations of the Spanish word "cava" in English is "ditch." I think Disney intended it to mean "cellar", though.

Someone here translated La Cava to mean The Ditch, started using it, and it kind of stuck. Some people have come on and said that's a bad translation though....La Cava should be the cellar or the cave.

Nonetheless, we had already started calling it The Ditch...and I like how RustyScupper put it....it's where you might end up after drinking there! :rotfl2:

It's a nickname, based on what was apparently a faulty online Spanish translator.
