La cantina San angel

Debating on the TS or CS- our boys love tacos and chips. Is the food at CS okay- or should be upgrade to TS. We will be going at dinner time and in June. I’d prefer AC not sure if the CS is covered?

Any thoughts would be great.

As a Texan, I can be pretty picky about my Mexican food because it's so ubiquitous here, and I like the quick service counter fine.

There is covering, but it's definitely outdoors and seating can be a challenge during crowded periods.

While San Angel Inn is our favorite, we would choose La Hacienda over CS. Fun, busy atmosphere in the A/C. Nice park break.

San Angel is just so peaceful in the dark, especially by the river.

Do you know if either table service would make chicken tacos in place of fish or steak ones at San angel. My son 15- would like the kids grilled tacos- he would get 2 orders. Or maybe they can make that into an adult meal and charge more?

We didn’t like the counter service at all but really enjoyed the full service restaurant.

After watching a couple you tube videos I’m thinking I want to be inside AC, no birds and clean tables. Gearing more to the Inn.

I'm almost positive we did this for my daughter, but the adult meal since she is 11. I was thinking they had an adult option that they altered, but I may be dreaming that!

Yes I figure if they have the items in kids menu they can make it an adult meal and charge more. Not worrying in price at all

We love the quick service in Mexico; however, it is always, always busy every time we are there. Finding a table can be challenging. We love it enough though that we don’t mind waiting and wiping down our own table. The view by the water is lovely.
