Just wondering if anyone has some good recommendations for Hotels in the LA area, we are hoping to spend some time checking out LA, Beverly Hills, Hollywood during our next Disneyland trip.

Where would you stay? Should we just stay in an Anaheim hotel for the whole trip?

thanks

I would stay in Anaheim and then drive up to the hills. It is about an hour drive. I hate moving the luggage and stuff from hotel to hotel when it is so close.

We've stayed at both the Universal Hilton and the Universal Sheraton. They're on Universal property and have a shuttle to the themepark, or you can walk. And it's great having Citywalk right there for the nighttime. What we're doing for our trip in September is spending three nights at the Disneyland Hotel, and then driving up to Hollywood and spending four nights at the Universal Hilton.

Kimpton hotels have some nice deals and will provide accomodations in the areas you want to tour.

For what it is
we really enjoyed the Hollywood Orchid Suites its right behind the Kodak theater off hollywood blvd

free and secure parking as well
