I had a mini-van reserved with Alamo for 7 days at a rate of $199.00 per week (not including taxes).
When I got to the Alamo counter there must have been 15 people ahead of me in line with 2 agents working the whole counter.
All other car companies had no line.
I walked up to L&M and said I had a weekly rate with Alamo for 199.00 and would they honor it. The very nice lady called her manager and said that they would honor the Alamo rate.
I told her that I wasn't prepared to rent with them and therefore didn't bring proof of insurance with me. No problem she said!
I then asked her if she would give me a Astro (larger van. We had 8 people.) No problem she said! (On their web-site they ask a lot more for a Astro vs a regular min-van)
Sometimes L&M cars are a little on the used side so I asked her for a newer car. The one that she assigned me had 700 miles on it!
I've rented with them before and have had no complaints.
This time, they were awesome!
