L&M or EZ Car??

Anyone ever used either of them? how are they compared to the major rental companies (alamo, avis, budget, etc).

I've never used EZ...I'd personally go with L & M since they are right on site at the airport. We used L & M a few times, even tho' we'd read some negative things, and thankfully none of it turned out to be true. We brought proof of our insurance but it was never asked for, nor did they pressure us overly much to buy theirs (not nearly as much as Alamo, who practically twists your arm). Once we even got a brand new car...literally brand new! The only weird thing was that they never gave us the fob for any of the cars we rented through them, so it was a pain to manually lock/unlock.

Never used them, always found their prices to high.

I used EZ many years ago and was not impressed. High pressure sales pitch for the insurance, and about a 45-60 minute wait at the counter.

We've used L&M a few times in the past and had a great experience w/ them.
One visit we didn't bring a credit card w/ us (the rental company we reserved w/ assured us the debit card would be fine...they lied) L&M not only took our debit card no problem...but they gave us the same type of car we originally reserved w/ the other company...at the same price (discounted).

Granted this was a number of years ago (probably about 7 or 8??) but I wouldn't hesitate using them today if the price was right.

I've used L&M three times now without any of the problems I've read about on this board. EZ is now in the terminal also, but I've not used them to date yet.

we've used L$M 3 or 4 times with no problems. Never a line of people either, which is nice.
