We have a car rental from L & M Rental Company through Orbitz......Base rate of $105.00 - May 1st - May 8th. It's supposed to be a Nissan Sentra.......has anyone heard of this company or used it?? It's just the hubby and me...and as many times as we've been to Disney (we usually drive) haven't heard of this company before and neither of us can remember seeing the counter at the airport. The confirmation paper says they're at the airport. Thanks.........I'm just counting the days now!

They are at the airport. You probably didn't notice the counter because there is never a line :teeth: . I've used them about 6 times over the years. Never had a problem with them. I have read where some people have had some problems during busy times.
Have you been promised a Nissan Sentra? I don't think they have too many of those. I got a Sentra once since then I've got Kia's and last time a Daewoo.
If you don't plan on buying their extra insurance, bring proof of your auto insurance. Not just your cards but a copy of the front page. Sometimes they ask for it but not always.

I have used L&M three times, and have never had a problem with the car. The one thing you do have to be careful with is read everything before you sign.
They tend to try and tack on extras and unless you read the list of expenses you might get stuck.
I once booked a midsized car with National for around $125. L&M stopped me at the airport and promised to match the National rate. Then at the desk they offered me a minivan for the same cost as the midsized. I was alone but planned to meet up with a large group so the mini van would come in handy.
They tacked on so much more that the cost came to over $400 for the 4 day weekend. I turned down all the extras and it wound up being about $25 more for the minivan. But if I had just signed without checking all the small print I would be stuck with a much bigger bill than I had planned. Peggie

They are very pushy and rude. You need a copy of the policy, not just the card, as the other poster said.
I wound up going with Thrifty since their web rate was within $10 dollars of L&M.

We rented from L&M for the first time this past December. We did not have any problems. We brought a copy of our insurance policy but they never even asked to see if. There was no line at the rental desk and we were treated nicely. We tend to look for the lowest price and would definitely rent from L&M again if the price was right.
