L & M car rental anyone ever used them?

Was wondering if thier was anyone with feedback for L & M good or bad. They seem to be cheapest by far for Dec. 16th to Dec. 27th time period.

Tho I have not used them myself, The Unofficial Guide to WDW speaks highly of them. It appears that they will match or beat any other company's offer if you take it to their desk. They are in terminal and by all reports have good cars and good service.

We have used them twice in the past 18 months without any problems whatsoever. As OP stated they usually are low priced and are in-terminal. I have read negative posts regarding showing proof of insurance and reps trying to push upgrades and insurance purchase, but we've never experienced any of that.

All car rental companies have some counter agents who push insurance and coverages.

Several agencies including L&M and EZ reserve the right to require that you buy their collision unless you have brought proof of having collision on a car back at home, with extension to rental cars. Read the policies/rules, on the agency's web site and on travelocity .com and be prepared for the more stringent of the two.

None recent but there have been instances of L&M simply refusing to honor a reservation. (May have been because of proof of insurance issues, the poster did not say)

The above are all more likely to happen during peak demand times (such as Daytona Week).

There is no Florida law that requires that you buy coverages from a rental agency before taking the car although I am told there are some remote obscure circumstances where you could be detained and the uncovered car impounded after a mishap occurred.

One news article I read recently mentioned an overall shortage of rental cars in Florida, due to many being damaged by the hurricanes and many being driven home out of state by renters. Don't take a car home without permission, your entire rental period could be refigured at a higher rate as well as other surcharges applied.

My husband checked the better business and they said stay away from them So we never used them friends of ours did and had a lot of trouble they finally had to go to National for a car So you are now informed
