Hi all,

I'm sorry it's been a while.....been busy with our gorgeous daughter Mollie who is almost 6 months old!!

As a present for Christmas we bought shares for Disneyland Paris so many more trips will hopefully be had with our girl!

On that, does anyone know if the Kyriad provide travel cots? We're thinking about maybe going for her 1st birthday (and her Mum's 30th!). Indeed any advice around feeding, facilities and things to think about with a one year old would be great.

I think Stargatebarbie stays at the Kyriad a fair bit so she might be able to help? Would imagine they will provide a travel cot if you email them/let them know when you book.

In general travelling with a child that age often depends on whether they are walking by then! But:

re travel cot, my DDs (DD2 in particular) didn't like the thin mattress of a travel cot so I bought an extra layer mattress from Mothercare - folds up in suitcase and just adds extra padding.

re food - I took those Hipp Organix type of microwave meals for my little one. You can heat them up and feed baby at the babycare centre at the park.

You can buy food there but it didn't look that great (jar, no lumps) and seemed for younger children (6 mths). Of course, if you are happy your DD will be able to eat from your plate too.

Also, take your own nappies - much cheaper.

I never travelled light when my DDs were babies but it made life easier when there.

I'll add stuff as I think of it :)
