Kyriad @ Disneyland Paris

The Hotel looks very nice from the outside and the room was very clean and comfy although there could have been more pillows.

The hotel has 300 rooms spread over two buildings, each of which has two floors with lift access. Designed for 1 to 4 people, they comprise either a double bed or twin beds and the majority are fitted with bunk beds. All rooms are fully equipped with personal air-conditioning system which is controllable via a thermostat outside the bathroom, a table with chair, a very small wardrobe with a few hangers (only enough space for 5-8 items of clothing though), personal safe (located in the wardrobe), telephone and television with French and international channels (only BBC World News in English).

A hospitality tray with coffee (2 sachets), tea (2 tea bags) and biscuits (2 again) is also offered in each room, however I do not know if the Hotel sells further supplies. The bathrooms all have a bath, shower and a hairdryer.

Cots are provided free of charge subject to availability.

WiFi Internet access is free throughout the hotel.

BreaKfast was provided in the restuarant. It was a usual continental breakfast with a selection of pastries and cereals. The breakfast room was very, very cold and they had the air-conditioning running as well. Dinner was also served in the restuarant priced at 19.90 euros per adult and 8 euros per child however they were doing a 'kids eat free' offer during our stay. We did not have an evening meal here unfortunatly.

We have just returned from staying here for the 2nd time.

Its a really nice hotel with a fresh clean feel to the rooms.

The tea/coffee is restocked daily and we asked at reception one day for further supplies and were given them. There are also biscuits in the room. However there are no mugs - just plastic cups which arent very good for hot drinks (the same type as they provide in the bathroom) so we bought 2 souvenir mugs to use.

We didnt eat in the restaurant apart from breakfast but did have a drink in the bar - cocktails were 7 Euros

thought id add my photos of the hotel here the rooms where clean, air con, free safe ,hairdyer tea/coffee kettle ,and a lovery bed with a sort of memory foam mattress which was very welcome the next four nights belive me

we stayed 1 night last wkend

think we had the exact same room as you :rotfl:

was fab for us as it was myself and my son, plus my friend and her daughter
so bunks and twin beds was perfect :)

lovely and clean and nicely decorated etc

only "problems" we had was one of the twin beds was soooo squeaky / creaky ! and the hairdryer not working

lovely helpful staff, and nice breakfast too

we booked via travel republic

would definitely stay here again :thumbsup2 my friend said it was nicer / better than the Santa Fe they stayed in @ Xmas

My mum and me stayed there during our unfortunate trip in dec (7th to 11th).
Room was very small even though clean, i was a bit put off by no shampoo in the Bathroom just a soap dispenser near the bath tube, so bring yours ....
Internet connect in the room was very good.
Breakfast ok-ish, hot items not too good have to say and choice a bit limited.
A budget hotel would say.

Stayed Halloween 2014 half term trip just myself and teenage son, we were allocated a twin bedded room on the 1st floor of the main building, (There is another block of rooms), with just the 2 of us the room size and storage space was superb, with 4 it would be a little more cramped, but no more so than the Disney hotels Santa Fe and Cheyenne.

Check in and payment of local tax all very easy.

Our room key, like every room key I've ever had was temperamental, 13 attempts with the next door neighbours helping, before we got in and in the dark it took me a few minutes to realise I needed to put the key in the slot in the room to turn on the electric.

I knew that kettles were no longer provided and had brought a travel one along with some instant coffee/chocolate. There were ample electric points in the room for the kettle and mobile phone/tablet charging. The room was very warm, we had the windows open the entire stay, beds were comfy and we weren't disturbed by other guests at all throughout our stay, I know some people have complained about noise. There was an unpleasant smell sometimes in the corridor but it didn't permeate into the room.

Fresh soap bars and plastic beakers were provided every day, shower had no shortage of hot water and was plenty powerful there was a body wash/shampoo dispenser by the bath.

Breakfast is served in another building and was adequate, the cooked selection leaves a lot to be desired, there us a reason so many sausages are left - Avoid them. I don't like the idea of help yourself yoghurt, so didn't try, but there was more than enough bread for toast, pain au chocolates and cinnamon swirl pastries to ensure we didn't start the day hungry. Pretty sure my son had cereals but not sure what the selection was. Fruit juices were watered down but coffee and tea was OK, food seemed to be plentiful and replenished often and you don't need to book a breakfast slot, earliest we went was 7.30 latest around 9.45.

Despite the hotel being full we always managed to get onto the shuttle bus. The shuttle serves all 4 off site hotels, Kyriad is first drop off after the park, so if the bus looks busy coming in don't be put off getting on, passengers will be getting off at Dream Castle, Magic Circus and Explorers, so chances are you'll get a seat. The shuttle does take a good 15 minutes or so to reach the park, I did make a mental note of the walkways and think it would be a good 10 minute walk to Santa Fe and then another 20 minute walk down the Rio Grande and through the village - so doable.

There is an unmanned luggage storage room with key coded lockers, if you need to store luggage on first or last day.

There is a Disney Store inside the hotel but it didn't always seem to be open throughout the day.

I had gotten a great deal through Travel Republic for the Kyriad and couldn't be more happy with it. In fact I'm already booked to go back to the Kyriad later this year for trip number 12 :)
