is KR in all shows at the Jedi training or just select shows? Is Darth maul in them as well?? Also do they do meet and greets for any of the Sith Lords??
We're headed to WDW Monday till the 5th so any help would be great.. And how early do we need to get there to try and get our son in the academy?
Thank you :)

To sign up for Jedi Training Academy, be at HS at least 45 minutes before rope drop in the morning.

The only M&Gs are Kylo and Chewbacca.

The meet and greets are in Launch Bay. If you have a Chase Disney Visa credit card, you can meet Kylo with a shorter wait between 11:00 - 4:00.

Darth Maul is not in JTA. He can be seen in the SW stage show on the Center Stage. Vader, 7th Sister, and Kylo are in JTA.

Oh wow did not know Kylo Ren was now at JTA. Awesome!!! Is there a pattern to which show he's in vs seventh sister and/or how to know who your kids will fight? I'm assuming Vader is still in all shows on the main stage or has that changed too?

Kylo Ren is in every show. He's in the portion where he only interacts with Nedriss as she confronts her fears.

Vader is in all sessions of JTA and in the SW stage show. Those are the only two places where he can be seen.

Kylo does meet and greets, but be warned, he is very in character. Treat him with the respect he is due as a Dark Lord of the Sith and he'll pose for pictures.

Be aware that he is not cute&cuddly type. My 4yr son ran up and hugged him. The photo pass person was like "no, no! He doesn't hug! Stop!"

Kinda ticked us off because Ds thought he had done something bad. It was only us in the room too!

But, I'm off topic...he's at launch bay, and bring your Visa card. And don't hug him.

This sounds so awesome! Kind of like the wicked step sisters! Can't wait for my 10 year old DS to meet him!;0)

DD6 is super excited for all the Star Wars stuff at DHS. She has many plans for the Jawas, Chewie, JTA. She's planning to dress as Rey at DHS and build a lightsaber as soon as we get to DS our first night.

Given what you and other say, I'm wondering whether meeting Kylo Ren is a good idea though. Especially with her dressed as Rey. It sounds as though we might not even be allowed a photo with him. I'd hate to wait for nothing or for him to just look at her and point us out.

They won't deny photos and the Photopass Photog takes many photos during the interaction. I think it's hard to decipher what Kylo is saying but all you have to do is stand next to him and pose for your photo. ;)

Ok, good. I'd read some reports that Kylo would sometimes refuse to interact if you acted overtly "rebel" and point you towards the door. That seems kinda punk, but a punk is pretty much what Kylo is, lol, so it would be in character.

As a Star Wars nerd, I think it's SO COOL that's he's actually role playing.

Let's be honest, from what we've seen of him so far (I'm sure it'll end up being more complicated than this), he's a petty, sulking teenager with a constant loop of "CAAAWWWLLLIINNNGGG IN MY SKIIIINNNN" playing and letting you know he's 2EDGY4U

Exactly. Our boy had just turned 4, and although he hadn't seen the movie (too violent), he still wanted to hug him and Vader. He's a very bold boy. Kylo didn't scare him, it was the reaction of the photo pass person scolding him for the hug. Boy then stood next to Ren, while I knew he really just wanted to snuggle with him.
We got photos, but the photo pass didn't really start shooting till he moved to the side. We think she hadn't seen toddlers snuggle and hug Ren.

We got some shots of him hugging Ren though.

On a funny note, my husband was wearing a x-wing shirt that showed the designs and blueprints of the plane that day. Totally forgot about, it was just his shirt for the day. Some troopers walked by us, saw the shirt, doubled back and started teasing him about plans/being a spy/etc. we had fun with them!

I agree that it is cool he stays in character. I'm pretty excited for all the new star wars stuff. It sounds like the Jawas and Stormtroopers are great "in character" interactions, too.

So after reading this I don't think my dd should meet him but dh and I want to. Do they have the equivalent of a child swap for this meet and greet?

I'm sure. But if she's dressing like Ray, why not? It wasn't him that was the issue, really.
